Here there are a lot of these new polarised tints that are see through from close by, but from an angle or distance they are not. They get through the electronic test the police uses, but you still can’t see into the car at all in normal traffic situations.

Oh! A koploper. The technological peak of the old school intercity trains. Originally they could be joined together and you could walk the entire length of the train, going right through underneath the empty driver cabs at the connections. More importantly, so could the person with the coffee cart!

Plating all bikes in The Netherlands is probably impossible at this point. There’s more bikes than people. 😆 But anything with an engine should be plated and insured. And let them 12 year olds bike to school on their own power like everyone else did. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Anything that carries a person with a motor should be regulated. How it got to a point where e-bikes became exempt from that is beyond me. Even wheelchairs that have battery assisted propulsion need an insurance plate, but bikes don’t.

We have major issues with those “fatbikes”. I’m fine with motorised or motor assisted bikes, but there should be an insurance obligation, insurance companies will require a minimum age (14 or 16) and there will be insurance plates, just as it was “in my days” with mopeds and 50cc scooters.

Sadly, you actually can. It’s ridiculous, but these days they let toddlers drive e-bikes and kids drive cars.

You can take driving lessons from the age of 16.5 for your car driving license. From 17 years old you can take a practical exam. Up to 18 years old you can drive alone with a supervisor. Theory from the age of 16 and driving lessons- from 16.5 years You can take the theory exam from the age of 16. From the age of 16.5 you can take driving lessons and take an interim test.

Ads passing by saying “seed now for a summer long flowers”, but I’ve had bad experiences with seeds. Before the chickens I had a patch with bulbs that were supposed to come up in various stages throughout the spring/summer, but they all came in a few weeks in spring and were gone by summer.
