Okay. Sets ordered. I didn’t order Minas Tirith yet, going to get that anyway when funds allow. 🙃 I ordered some sets that soon will be discontinued - The Endurance (10335) and Himeji Castle (21060). Also ordered a LightMyBricks kit for the Douglas DC3 and the Endurance.

Sadly, you actually can. It’s ridiculous, but these days they let toddlers drive e-bikes and kids drive cars.

You can take driving lessons from the age of 16.5 for your car driving license. From 17 years old you can take a practical exam. Up to 18 years old you can drive alone with a supervisor. Theory from the age of 16 and driving lessons- from 16.5 years You can take the theory exam from the age of 16. From the age of 16.5 you can take driving lessons and take an interim test.

In the last hour of #Caturday I am trying to investigate the crime of leaving dirty prints on my freshly cleaned kitchen counter. The main suspect remains silent but CCTV footage and supporting evidence reveals guilt for the repeat offender. He will go into the night without a snack. #Neelix

Over several days this week I’ve been laying a new floor over the very old original granite floor. Had a lot of other things to do in between but flooring is now finished, only some trim in the kitchen left and want a few difficult corners in the hallway to be covered a bit more.

Both cats have now used the litter box and it did what it had to do. Much to the disliking of cat & co, specially Neelix was at a complete loss of what was happening. Hope they get used to it as the box itself now seems to work as it should.

Well. Okay. Not bad. As good as done then. Apart from the trim / skirting of course. On a side note, I’ve had it for some time already, but once again I have to conclude that the Bosch Nanoblade is a fabulous piece of kit. 👍🏼

In between all other things I had to do and apart from the trim around the edges (which I haven’t got yet as I need to exchange the grey ones for black ones), I eventually finished the hallway. Kitchen should hopefully be more straightforward. 🤞

It is hard to see on the picture but if you ask me, I’d say that the skirting strips that came with the floor, look shit. 🫤

Not anywhere near where I wanted to be at this point but it has taken a few tries (and floor boards) before it clicked how the click boards are supposed to be clicked. Supervisor not impressed.

Amazing to think that in the fall of 2021 I buried a chestnut into the ground, at some point over a year later, a sapling popped up, now in 2026, at only 4 years old, the tree is 160 cm tall!

This is my parents’ cat Doenja, today, after being ill for a little while and failing medication, they have let her go. After a rough start she lived a queen’s life for a good 12 years after she was adopted by my parents, she became 15. Bless her. These pictures were taken by me yesterday.

The street racers are at it again, the fucking annoying racket is horrible. Police claim “not to know where it is”, while this happens all the time and always at the same place, where it goes on for hours. No way they can’t figure out where it is, if they want to. The bike place I always go to (Yamaha dealership but I went there with my Suzuki and Honda also) puts these stickers on your mirror after you get new tires. It says “take it easy for a bit, you have new tires!”. It’s a nice courtesy but also good to keep it on as a reminder for the first 100 KM.🙃
