I suspect Hall would have the highest rating-points per game/appearance of any current player throughout their NUFC career - was same first half last season before his injury. Not just his consistency, but his ability to get bang-up-to-speed after varying periods out of the side is incredible

IDK man - I think it's more Howe In on here. But my Howe-sceptic take is hardly unique or even that uncommon. Last Toon Review poll I saw was about 2/3 Howe Out. Obviously this changes depending on the audience though. Would be opposite on NUFC Matters I dare say. Opinions are great. All for them.

We just have a different interpretation of his time and circumstances of departure. DoF's can't simply quit on the eve of a transfer window - their contracts don't allow for it. "By mutual consent" means that there was at least someone (EH) internally against him.

What’s your evidence for Mitchell being a disaster apart from Craig Hope hit pieces? Hands were tied by his predecessor’s PSR overspend. Did lots for academy, women’s team and sporting functions in his 11 months and got fired on eve of summer window.

Howe already hit his modest ceiling after spending 750m and is now regressing IMO. Failed to grow as a manager in terms of stylistic philosophy and tactical decision-making. His ego-driven summer power grab over transfers combined with his abysmal talent ID is a continuing impediment to progress.
