Isn't that house locally known as the "Gingerbread House"?Carberry was my Dad's home town too. Grandma lived on Toronto St behind the CVM cafe. I have a lot of memories from there.

I picked up a country size bag of firewood at the local place. The garden wagon came in handy to bring to the backyard. 2 hours to unload and stack. Time for a cocktail 🍸

Our RM has an incentive of 2 years of no taxes if you build a new home or business. Our place hasn't been assessed yet, but we are expecting an approx $3k a year savings.
