Northlane is the biggest surprise to me and always will be and I love it. They came up with Periphery, Volumes, Tesseract, Veil of Maya, The Contortionist and the routes that they all took are so interesting. Some evolved and refined their sound.

Crucified gives me the same feeling hearing Solace for the first time. Then 4D. I like when you can tell artists and bands are just having fun out there.

It’s going to be a toss up between Slayyyter’s album and Northlane’s newest album. Can’t wait to hear the full album when it comes out. Crucified and Evian have been on repeat since they released. They’ve perfected EDM Metalcore. No one sounds like them.

Nina, Underscores and Slayyyter have all dropped banger albums. All of this shit is so damn sick. Wor$t Girl In America and U are both contenders for my album of the year. I Love My Computer would’ve been my album of the year of 2025 had I known about it

Then I’m also doing mini challenge while I wait for Avengers Doomsday. 3 months away so something like Irreversible The Bad Thing Ragnarok Alpha Gravity Doomsday These are some hard songs so we’ll see before Dec 18th but I’m gonna attempt. Irreversible is coming along very well.

Little bit left to practice of Irreversible. That is probably the proggiest and hardest song I’ve learned so far. Something finally dethroning Reptile by Thornhill. Might be slightly harder than it too because there are some time signature changes and some tight syncopation.

Hardest songs I’ve learned this year have been Belcarra by Spiritbox and The Mixture by Volumes. Now I’m working on learning Irreversible by Erra. This has been on my list to play ever since I was even thinking about playing an instrument. And it’s going really really well

My issue with X-Men 97 is it’s the closest thing to a animated adaptation of comics similar to anime and manga and they are FLYING through comic events that could slow burn a whole season like manga adaptations do and it’s so disappointing

Seen Spider-Man Brand New Day twice. First time made me sad, the second time I had tears. It already started at the beginning of the third act, but the conversation Sadie Sink’s character had towards the end broke me. So I guess that’s a thing I do now.

At least I don’t waste anyone else’s time anymore. So that’s a plus. Me being out the way is better and no one gets hurt emotionally anymore.

Maybe it’s why I started strength training. Once everyone is gone 30 years from now at least I’ll be able to move on my own without assistance since I choose to be solitary. No more dreams of starting a family anymore. So just gotta be okay with the way things are going.

I take my exam next month and if I pass I sign my life away for 3 years but at least I get a nice bonus out of it. Hopefully the end of the year I become a Tech 3 too. Just gonna focus on that and figure out the rest as I go.
