Central bankers' communication is a weird thing. On the one hand we want them to guide us (dampen volatility) and on the other hand low volatility usually leads to bad decision making. On top of that central bankers have no idea what they will need to do down the road. Solution? Ivory tower.

Short interest in $TLT is at record highs, which is of course peculiar and I would love to roll with it (I'm rather bullish on duration). Sadly, this is merely 1.5 days of turnover. That said, CFTC is showing massive shorts also and holding those costs quite a bit.
