We’re going to see Digger again tomorrow night. I’m absolutely shocked it has had such bad press because it’s the best movie I’ve seen in years. If you have a chance and like cult films check it out. I think tomorrow is its last night in theatres.

My longing to change my fashion easthetic from Bajoran priestess to 1980s street worker from New Jersey was short lived. I just like loose layers & wearability of Lagenlook. That’s not going to change. Why cling wrap yourself when you can be enveloped in soft blankety layers? Life’s too short. 🤷‍♀️

I have a dvd of this movie. The scene where he sets up the office to begin work is so tactile and calming. Also, it’s amazing to contrast how prostitutes dressed then vs normal women now.

I’ve turned the color off on my phone. Now it’s much less addictive. It’s sort of amazing how much moving to black & white has increased my longing to make art. It just might be that I enjoy creating art because my mind craves interaction with color. The colour on my phone might reduce that.

John & I saw Digger two nights ago & I’m still thinking about it. I usually don’t care for Cruise but as a villain? Damn. The cinematography? Amazing. People’s faces moving like they’re meant to? Wow. Best movie I’ve seen in a while. Go check it out if you have a chance. Ok logging off. 💖

I’m deleting all the non essential stuff of my phone and that mostly means social media. Why? Because phones and social media in general have been designed to be addictive. Despite the fact that I would love to be a superior human I’m not immune to that. So, I have to stop entirely. ⬇️

I think these systems likely have been fed billions of pages of scientific research and since it is essentially a calculator, its logic is just based on math. My speculation is that the massive amount of research is convincing especially en masse. Just a logical conclusion really.

Me too. I ocassionally still find vintage converses at the thrift though. I think people need to understand that every purchase we make supports some sort of suffering and simply consume less but I feel like we’ve been brainwashed into a sort of complacency centered around entitlement.

I thought we were all boycotting Nike for using child labor in the late 90s and therefore haven’t been buying converses since they were bought out by Nike. So, regarding myself personally, if someone were to break into my home, attack me with a weapon, attempt to burn my home down or rape me I would be allowed to kill that person as a form of defense without taking on negative karma or if I were a soilder defending my homeland from invaders, same deal.

It’s complicated and someone who is a better scholar of Hindu texts would likely be able to explain better than I. I’ll try; You can kill in self defence. There are six categories of offenders it applies to, killing in the name of righteous warfare is permitted, and rulers can order executions.

I think I’ve decided these people might be trying to get us to kill ourselves en masse. That’s why this trauma machine of an administration keeps putting out 30 new devastating things a day.
