Has the funniness of bananas been factored into things? Funny shape, funny word to say, slipping on a banana peel is timeless comedy. And they come in bunches. Court jester coded fruit tbh. Pineapple however. That’s a fruit that carries herself like a queen. Who else is more singular and striking?

Good to know I’ve got the optimal device to produce blasphemous tones on church property

WMD Geiger Counter Pro. A yellow guitar pedal with red and black labeling. It has 10 knobs, 9 tiny buttons, a bunch of LEDs including multiple displays, and 3 foot switches. There’s a red graphic at the bottom center resembling the radioactive symbol.

RPG tip from the archive: Ask players what the name of their new magic item is. Let them come up with silly ones until a good one comes out. #dnd #ttrpg

Have you ever wanted to hatch out of the corpses of your enemies as a spooky skeleton? I made a Draw Steel ancestry where you're a living spell that pilots skeletons as my entry for #JamsOfTheTimescape

Cover of Skeltul. A large patch sewn on a black denim background depicting the word "Skeltul" written in large bones and a skeleton in front of an arcane sigil.

Lore and rules text for the Skeltul ancestry explaining its signature Hatch trait that allows you to take control of skeletons, as well as various purchasable traits related to bones and possession.

After pressing the button, I wait about one minute before pulling out my phone. If I can find and order the thing online at a similar price before someone can come and unlock the cage, then GG no re, brick and mortar store. l2p

Favorite album is Ottmar Liebert - Poets & Angels. Reminds me of being at my grandparents every year. Favorite song is Jose Feliciano - Feliz Navidad.

Sounds like software dev interview pipeline. Not unusual to have 3-4 back to back interviews on the “final” round. It’s rough, hang in there and good luck! I’ve heard some nightmare stories of people doing like 12+ interviews due to team matching runaround

I'm kinda new-ish when it comes to actually reading comics, but I am progressing through a Mystique reading order I found (at a glacial pace). I might just skip around though, I'm sure I'll check this one out

BarcodeDM JP @barcodedm.bsky.social · 18/11/2025

Mystique! If I were to overanalyze I might say it has something to do with masking to fit in being relatable, but really I think she's just cool.

Australia 2025, what a trip! Visited a bunch of cities, narrowly avoided a drop bear, almost lost my bag, saw The Book of Mormon and Dead Kennedys. Met giant tortoises, a koala, kangaroos, and wallabies. Said hi to @dailydael.bsky.social, @thebenbyrne.bsky.social, and @romanpenna.bsky.social at PAX

Selfie of me wearing sunglasses and a green shirt while standing in front of some greenery dotted with purple flowers. The Sydney harbour and harbour bridge are in the background.

Me at Australia Zoo kneeling next to and leaning on an Aldabra giant tortoise with my arms around him as he munches on a pile of mixed greens.

Selfie of me crouched down next to a grey kangaroo as it eats pellets out of my hand.

A mostly empty Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre the day before PAX Aus 2025, with various PAX banners hanging from the ceiling. The foremost banner says, "Welcome to PAX Aus" and shows a few league of legends characters while advertising Riftbound.

Dungeons and Cabins 2025! I had so much fun again this year, and I can't wait to go back!

Group photo of campers and DMs at Dungeons and Cabins 2025 week 1. The front row of people are the DMs kneeling, while the five rows of people on behind them on the bleachers are campers.

Me and four other members of fire party holding one end of a tug of war rope while wearing our red fire team aprons. Members of sky party and ocean party are spectating in the background.

me wearing sunglasses, a red hoodie, and a red bandanna tied around my neck while looking at someone out of frame

two polaroid photos arranged vertically. the top photo is of fire party with our DM, and the bottom is of the returning campers and DMs from last year. in both photos, the 2025 dungeons and cabins banner, signed by everyone, is being held up in the center with a fire pit in the foreground.

I love this kind of thing! I've been (*very* slowly) working on a tool that randomly generates a bunch of names and descriptions of things, and one of my favorite sections is the custom spell names. People should put more weird spells into their games!

A list titled Custom Spells, with the following entries: Remove Monkey, Divine Martens, Absorb Force, Summon Elemental Zombie, Frost Storm, Rocs of Immortality, Toxic Sliver, Create Plasma, Starlight Parade, Blade of Shadow

Me, worldbuilding: why settle for a usable name when I could spend 13 hours spread across the next two weeks agonizing over finding a name that feels perfect at the time, but then 3 months later I don’t like it anymore?

When you make a custom table for a Deck of Many things for a full sized tarot deck, with two effects per card depending on whether it is upright or inverted, and then the player who identifies it hides it away instead of showing the party. Maybe during tonight's session curiosity will win out...

Coming in on the final stretch of a ~2 year campaign. I think all they have left to do is get into and navigate the lich's tower and then confront her (for a second and final time). I think most of my planning will be designing the tower. First time running a lich BBEG, they're my favorite monster.
