I think he's been very good in recent months In his position he's not necessarily going to be as flashy as others . £11m is a lot to pay for us , but i'd say he's been a good player. He didn't set the fee.

Did the manager pick the wrong team ? Not in my view , who else could he have chosen ? Did he set them up the wrong way ? No idea, i'm not qualified to comment. Have we got some players who aren't good enough for our toughest games ? Self evidently yes Why ? Now there's a point to debate

I suspect it'll be a rerun of last season, when Brendan turned to Jamesie , as he was the only one he trusted Yang will get some time as well , with Kuhn starting far less

The only way to get real quality without them being an automatic starter, is to spend £5M + on 18 or 19 year olds Or you bring in a couple of veteran players on a free A mix probably works best , but i've been banging the sign young drum for a while To be fair , we have done a bit in that cohort

We don't have £100 million or even close to that We do though have sufficient cash reserves and headroom to comply with Uefa squad cost regulations I'd expect we spend at a similar level to last season, whilst selling a couple of players

We were owed one today We only made 2 substitutions against Bayern , and only 2 again today I wouldn't try and second guess Brendan , but there were players who got 90 minutes, who had a bad bad day We have a lot of work to do in the summer

Well that was beyond disappointing It confirms what we've known for a while. We lack depth. There are some players who just aren't good enough , and a couple who are talented enough but not reliable We can't use injuries. We only had 2 starters missing, and Nawrocki did as well as Trusty does
