One of these is on my 'want list' at the moment. I've lost so many cameras where the electronics have died, that I vowed never to buy another camera that relies on electronics to operate, so the F2 meets this requirement. Enjoy your new toy.

When I dumped Microslop last year, I ended up moving all my Onenote data to Joplin. It's opensource, you can self host it, although they do run a hosted service if you can't be bothered. It can even be run on Googledrive, Onedrive, or Dropbox as long as you use Joplin's on the fly encryption.

Ohhh. That looks nice a crusty. I'm now on my second 500ml bottle after the first took 15 years to use. I'm not a fanatical film changer and tend to stick with ilford's FP4 and Delta 100 and like the look that Rodinal gives with these. I tend to use it when I don't have anything else though.

I've learned something new in today's #MinCup26 face off. #Cassiterite crystals display birefringence, meaning light travels through them at different speeds depending on its direction. That's enough to get my vote against #Graphite www.mineralcup.org/2026/vote-re... @mineralcup.bsky.social

OK. The #Halite is the obvious choice, but when you have #Arsenopyrite that can smell like a Fart or Garlic depending on if you expose it to nitric acid, or heat, is surely today's winner. #MinCup26 @mineralcup.bsky.social www.mineralcup.org/2026/vote-re...
