Andy Walker @balthazar-weiss.bsky.social · 31/08/2026Fantastic trip to the Palace of Knossos today, learned about it 30 years ago, never thought I'd get to see it 🙂 Definitely need to paint a Minotaur soon 😉 080
Andy Walker @balthazar-weiss.bsky.social · 17/08/2026The Good side of a Good Vs Evil Clash I want to do on a "Crossroads" style board for Greathelm. Knights are from Black Scorpion Miniatures, painted with the John Blanche Masterclass Vol 1 (and a silver) - tried to go for a Blanchitsu/Grimdark style, I think I did ok #miniaturepainting #greathelm 08913

Andy Walker @balthazar-weiss.bsky.social · 26/07/2026First 4 of the models I bought from Attack in Devizes - these are Witch Hunters from Athena Miniatures (a local company). I thought they had a nice old school feel to them. My favourite is the Cleric, that's a proper hammer 😎 #miniaturepainting #nerdlings #oldhammer 3556

Andy Walker @balthazar-weiss.bsky.social · 02/07/2026This was not as much fun to paint as it should have been, no idea why - my mate, who I painted it for was happy though, so that's the main thing 👍🏻 #miniaturepainting 1373
Andy Walker @balthazar-weiss.bsky.social · 30/06/2026Anyone know where this model is from? He's old, I know that much, but I don't think he's meant to be a dwarf. The sword and the hand holding it are from a Norman knight sprue. I have named him Cribbins, for obvious reasons... #miniaturepainting 1347
Andy Walker @balthazar-weiss.bsky.social · 15/02/2026A geological probe droid - it's going to be an objective marker for games of Space Weirdos, etc. A long forgotten relic that has valuable information stored inside. #miniaturepainting #scratchbuilding #nerdlings #spaceweirdos 1322
Andy Walker @balthazar-weiss.bsky.social · 12/02/2026Dom Chinn-aya and his little warband of scavengers (tech-archaeologists) are painted! Andy Walker @balthazar-weiss.bsky.social · 02/02/2026...and he's painted 🙂 Now I just need to paint his assistants and robots/drones. #miniaturepainting #spaceweirdos 0413
Andy Walker @balthazar-weiss.bsky.social · 01/02/2026Two of the next things to be painted - I managed to glue myself to both projects more than once... 😖 2181

Andy Walker @balthazar-weiss.bsky.social · 05/01/2026I'm thinking about applying for the Man Utd job - sure I'm only the assistant coach for an U15s team, but wouldn't that be the ideal preparation with the way those Muppets are playing right now...? 🤔😉 130
Andy Walker @balthazar-weiss.bsky.social · 04/01/2026I have built a jet bike out of the most random rubbish. It's just in scale for wargaming, but it's a little fragile - especially the handlebars 😯 Loads of fun to build, painting it will be interesting 🤨 #junkbuilds #wargaming 4558
Andy Walker @balthazar-weiss.bsky.social · 01/01/2026Techno-Archaeologist (aka Scavenger) Dom Chinn-aya - base model is the old imperial missionary (I think?). I now love converting models too, I can't believe it's taken me so long to get in to it 😖 #modelmaking #spaceweirdos 0181
Andy Walker @balthazar-weiss.bsky.social · 31/12/2025I made hover-bots! Wooden bead bodies with added bits from GW, Infinity, pens, broken electronics and little jewel-y things scraped off a Christmas card. I've not made my own miniatures before, it's a lot of fun 🙂 #beadbots #wargamingminiatures #miniaturepainting 0505

Andy Walker @balthazar-weiss.bsky.social · 12/12/2025The legs are a little skinny, but I think he looks alright! On the table he's going to look fine 🙂 He still looks like he's leaving one pitched well outside off stump... 🤨🏏 #AndysChopShop #miniaturepainting 2201
Andy Walker @balthazar-weiss.bsky.social · 10/12/2025After a trying day at work I will now attempt to coach 16 14 year olds how to play football 🤨 #gluttonforpunishment 060
Andy Walker @balthazar-weiss.bsky.social · 10/12/2025I grew up in Malmesbury, you can "feel" the history when you're in the town. If you've ever watched Hot Fuzz, it's EXACTLY like that (apart from the murders!), both my Dad and Grandad (mum's Dad) were policemen in Malmesbury 😆 It's also the home of Barn Owl Books, my favourite indie bookshop. 🙂 2261
Andy Walker @balthazar-weiss.bsky.social · 09/12/2025Next bit of terrain made from rubbish in its very basic state - old school drinks can storage tanks - the plastic base fits the cans PERFECTLY, love these happy accidents. Andy Walker @balthazar-weiss.bsky.social · 29/11/2025...and I've put some paint on it, and it actually looks pretty good 😯 I probably should have done the gun differently in hindsight, but it's ok. I painted the suit with a sponge to add some texture. No idea what this one will be used for either, but I'm having fun learning to convert stuff. 😎🪚🔧🔨 0234
Andy Walker @balthazar-weiss.bsky.social · 28/11/2025Next idea turning something random into a model. He came with a Nintendo Switch game (plus ship, which will be used at some point too). The pose was nice, but wanted to add a weapon - so I chopped up an old titan weapon to glue to his shoulder. I think it works... #AndysChopShop #wargamingminiature 0110
