Imagine someone telling you before the season that the defending Western Conference champion Mavericks would be trotting out Kessler Edwards at the 5 in the fourth quarter of a close game

Max Christie has all-defense potential

Ok that might be it for me, I can’t watch this anymore. Never seen a team so cursed by injuries this is absurd

One of the first times I have seen Hardy make the right read on the break and kick it out to the open guy. Love to see the growth

Wow what happened? Can’t remember the last time I’ve seen a trade voided this late

Ok I’m officially a Sengun hater, this guy constantly flops and complains

Mavs should have a top 3 defense the rest of the season, no excuse not to as long as they stay healthy

I hate watching Sengun lmao one of the biggest whiners in the league

The Mavs bench rotation of Christie/Naji/Caleb/Lively would be absolutely insane defensively if everyone gets healthy

Naji missing a lot of games this season is an underrated storyline for the Mavs. He brings a different skillset off the bench that the team has sorely needed

So we trade Luka and now Hardy is out of the rotation? How does that make sense

I swear Kai has like 5 steals in this first half

So Nico thought trading Luka for AD + Christie made us better this year? Not gonna make any other moves for a ball handler? He’s really that fucking stupid?

The Lakers are going to have a bottom-10 defense in the league. They were already bad on that end, before losing a top-3 defensive player in the league and adding one of the worst defenders in the league

I’d feel so much better about the trade if Nico would’ve gotten Reaves and the ‘31 pick. We could really use Reaves offensively and the extra pick would’ve gave us more flexibility at the deadline/in the offseason

Kidd needs to put Hardy back in the rotation and let him get his confidence up. We desperately need his offensive creation
