Yeah! I hate GenAI! A lot! Here's my CYOA game, This Train is Going to Crash! badspaceking.itch.io/this-train-i... The main character is artificial, and intelligent, but not GenAI! They are also, quite doomed.

It is a sunny midmorning in the English countryside, a single gleaming railroad ahead before you, surrounded by open fields. Technically there's another railroad next to you, but no matter. You aren't on it, so it may as well not exist.

You are a locomotive, currently part of a passenger service between Portsmouth Harbour and Bristol. You are travelling at around 80 miles per hour, which would normally be fine. The problem is that you should be slowing down for an upcoming turn, but you aren't for reasons you do not know. There may be something not right here.

Check on the driver
Check on the passengers
Check the track
Do nothing

You cast train magic! Locobolt did 3 damage to all enemies!
Enemy prevents new safety measures! You took 7 damage!

Would you still be you if you were a boat? Or a toaster? Would you be obsessed with bread? You were 'born' out of a locomotive. Doesn't that affect your... self? You can't think of the right words. But why can't you? If you are a machine, surely you should have precision at all times? Either you know something, or you don't. You shouldn't struggle to find something then fail; you should already know if you can succeed or not.

But you are what you are. You can't escape your body, and somewhere in it physically is you. At least, that should be the case.

When your parts are replaced, would you be you?
You can't be physical.
