The leader coming out of game 1 was my left neighbor and I lost a decisive battle in round 5 that I couldn't come back from. Lessons learned: I should have taken more risks with early exploration at the edge of the board! 110

The winner played really well and successfully blocked my attempts to take over the artifact ambition. We completed 3 objectives but lost via despair with Frodo and Sam just outside Mordor. We did not adequately plan on getting Ring cards to Frodo; next time we will be prepared. 210

I was pursuing a Ring victory as the forces of evil but it simply proved too slow, even with an early Ring-Army synergy ability. Lesson learned: don't neglect the area control! 110
