Fabulous Bodies by @chucktingle.bsky.social was fabulous 😝 I really loved it. It was such a ride (lol) w/ good twists and high stakes I didn't like the MC at first (don't think we're supposed to?) but I loved her by the end. Well written So. Good. #booksky #booksky📚💙 #FabulousBodies #ChuckTingle

Book cover for Fabulous Bodies by Chuck Tingle. The background is turquoise and it features soft pink writing that turns into a soft yellow ombre at the bottom, saying first the author's name and then the book title. In the middle of the cover is a pair of pink, heart shapped sunglasses reflecting blue water, with a splatter of blood across the right side. At the top it says "USA Today bestselling author." At the bottom it says "Never meet your heroes." Under that, in soft blue text, it says 'A masterly ride across terror and wonder, Olivie Blake New York Times bestselling author"

Hi. If you're speaking out against ice in defense of immigrants & PoC but you're not speaking up for the trans community, you're missing an entire gen0c¡de Does it only matter to you bc ice is doing it so incredibly publicly that you can't miss it but the trans gen0c¡de is quiet & "more ignorable"?

Sleep Like Death was a great read This book is a Snow White retelling, and while it hits every major plot point of the Snow White story we all know, Kalynn Bayron puts her own fresh spin on each one, making it feel like its own, special story It was beautiful #booksky💙📚 #SleepLikeDeath #SnowWhite

Not everything is done to distract from the files! THEY HAVE A PLAN. IT'S CALLED PROJECT 2025. WE'VE KNOWN FOR YEARS NOW. They're following the pre-laid plan. These things aren't done on a whim to distract. They're following a year's old plan & dismissing things as "just a distraction" is dangerous

RFK: "children who are circumcised early have double the rate of autism" Which is why almost all amab jews are autistic, and why most afab jews aren't (I say sarcastically, in case you somehow thought I was being serious)

baconbex.bsky.social @baconbex.bsky.social · 09/10/2025

Jews, who circumcise all amab babies*, don't have a higher autism rate than other cultures Not that his "circumcision leads to autism cuz tylenol" theory has any merit, but this claim is very proveably false 🙄 *there's a growing movement in Jewish communities that are moving away from circumcision

Just finished both The Stardust Thief and sequel The Ashfire King This series is quite the adventure. SO MUCH happens! It's truly a journey, in the best of ways Great characters, great world building, great story Cannot wait for book 3 #booksky💙📚 #booksky #TheStardustThief

Book cover for The Stardust Thief by Chelsea Abdullah. The background of the cover is a white Islamic geometric pattern. In the center, between the title and author, is a golden compass with a palace, a person on a horse on a sand dune, a hooded, cloaked figure, and a lamp in its center. Red and orange fire, which appears almost like ink in water, splashes across the cover in a horizontal line, under and around the compass. Across the very top, it says ""A THRILLING ADVENTURE ABOUT FOUND FAMILIES, ANCIENT MAGIC, AND STORIES THAT LINGER." S. A. CHAKRABORTY, AUTHOR OF THE CITY OF BRASS"

I don't need the ortho to treat my lyme. But they SHOULD know how my lyme affects my joints Is my injured knee/ankle the lyme congregating there and causing damage? Or are they injured in a way unrelated to my lyme? Because it CAN be the former (but is imo probably the latter)

I have been actively fighting for 9.5 years. It's both an active and a chronic infection for me by now (unless you clear lyme IMMEDIATELY after exposure, it'll most likely go chronic) I need an ortho for knee/ankle injuries. But a doctor who doesn't know lyme can't always see or treat me properly

010

baconbex.bsky.social @baconbex.bsky.social · 23/09/2025

It's ABSURD that most orthopedic drs don't know lyme An illness FAMOUS FOR AFFECTING JOINTS Lyme makes you & your dr think you need a knee replacement, but lyme treatment makes those symptoms vanish entirely. No surgery needed And most orthos don't know lyme at all?! #LymeDisease #disabilitysky
