Fabulous Bodies by @chucktingle.bsky.social was fabulous 😝 I really loved it. It was such a ride (lol) w/ good twists and high stakes I didn't like the MC at first (don't think we're supposed to?) but I loved her by the end. Well written So. Good. #booksky #booksky📚💙 #FabulousBodies #ChuckTingle

Book cover for Fabulous Bodies by Chuck Tingle. The background is turquoise and it features soft pink writing that turns into a soft yellow ombre at the bottom, saying first the author's name and then the book title. In the middle of the cover is a pair of pink, heart shapped sunglasses reflecting blue water, with a splatter of blood across the right side. At the top it says "USA Today bestselling author." At the bottom it says "Never meet your heroes." Under that, in soft blue text, it says 'A masterly ride across terror and wonder, Olivie Blake New York Times bestselling author"

Finished The Long Way To A Small, Angry Planet & it was fantastic Cozy, wholesome, creative, fun. Some cool af alien species & amazing world building What's unique about this book is that, while there IS a plot, the plot is kind of the background. It's more about the characters #booksky💙📚

Book cover for The Long Way To A Small, Angry Planet by Becky Chambers. The title, in a green to white ombre, takes up most of the cover. The background is a space scene with some stars and a subtle blue nebula. There is a small, reddish Planet behind the word "The." The spaceship from the book is tucked under the word "way," next to the word "small," and above the word "planet." It's a bulky hodgepodge of a ship either a green dome on its back right side. The words "Great fun! - Ann Leckie, author of Ancillary Justice" graces the bottom right corner. A green circle with the words "Winner of the Hugo Award for best series" graces the top right corner

A triptych photo of 3 screengrabs from Xena Warrior Princess. Top left shows a man in a ton of leathers with a cowboy style leather coat and hat. Bottom left shows a stereotypical cowboy shot of a standoff, where one person's butt and thigh is taking up roughly the right half of the screen as he shows off his gun, while the rest of the screen shows his duel partner across the way. The photo on the right shows a woman in stereotypical cowboy getup, with the addition of a sword on her side, moving her coat out of the way to show off her gun

Too many people fail to understand the role poverty plays in chronic illness. Money can’t buy health or happiness, but a lack of money can make your health worse & life harder. Universal healthcare & basic income would do more to create a healthier society than all the “wellness” in the world.
