One of my favorite recent horror books is There Is No Antimemetics Division by qntm. If I can recommend my book, The Backwards Knight is a perfect fall read that blends together a classic fantasy adventure with eldritch horror twists and undertones.

One of my favorite audio books is His Ragged Company by Rance D. Denton. Great listen, if you like weird wild west stories! And if I may self-rec, I have The Dark Side of Super available pretty much everywhere audio books are. It's an interconnected bundle of super-powered shorts.

If I may make a self-rec, I have an audio book available for The Dark Side of Super. It's an interconnected collection of super-powered shorts that weave together a larger tale. Part thriller, part heist, all super with horror elements sprinkled throughout. It's on almost all audio platforms!

If I may self-rec? I have two books out as ebooks/physical: The Backwards Knight is a classic fantasy adventure rife with eldritch horror undertones. The Dark Side of Super (also audio book) is a collection of dark, gritty, realistic super-powered shorts that all weave together a larger tale.

I aim to unsettle with my cooking as much as I do with my books. 🙃

That could be it too. I had them tightly packed in a 9x13 baking tray. I may need to do two next time.

From what others have told me so far, uneven cutting/rolling. Basically, I need to roll, get it good, and then cut. And then when baking, give them room to expand out rather than up?

Oh no I definitely made these today. 🙃🙃🙃 with some eldritch-enhanced flour.

Introducing my new brand of food... Beware the Ibe Nire Cinnamon Rolls! 🍽️ Frosting to be applied later.

YES! One of the apple farms near us does theirs as a slushie. It's so good.

Chilled probably, but we've made our own cider from scratch and nothing beats a hot mug of it.

#TBBChat Thanks for the wonderful chat! I have a great book for spooky season coming out on October 6th! It's a cozy horror novella with a MM romance! Uni: books2read.com/u/bw6gwP Itch: applesncinnamon.itch.io/the-witch-of...

Over the background of a dark forest, the cover of The Witch of the Wood by Alex Larkspur with the blurb of the book next to it.
Blurb:
There is a witch hiding in the trees of Hatwick Wood. They are a steward of the wood, caring for the alders, maples, and cedar within, watching over the home of the beasts and birds. The people who survive on the generosity of Hatwick Wood—every denizen from Farbreak at the south edge to Northpost on the opposite side—respects the witch. Everyone knows the witch is the forest caretaker, and if anything ever went wrong, they need to be found to mend it.
When Hatwick Wood is cursed, the witch must be found. It is up to Milo Ashton, an unremarkable member of the Ashton hunting clan, to venture into the cursed forest and find the witch. But soon, he is cursed himself. A mysterious hermit named Cam finds him and swears that he can help Milo lift the curse. Milo is torn between the magnetic draw he feels towards Cam and the certainty that Cam is hiding something from him. Milo must find the witch, lift the curse, and reckon with his own feelings before he is consumed by the wood.
Releasing October 6th

Cover description:
The cover of The Witch of the Wood by Alex Larkspur. It features two men in a dark and gloomy forest. Milo stands in front, a man with tan skin and short, dark hair. He’s dressed in a cream tunic and a green cloak around his shoulders. He has a bow and arrows. He is clearly afraid as he stares at his left hand. His fingers are blackened due a curse that is spreading across his hand. Another man, Cam, is turned the other way and holding Milo’s right hand. He’s looking over his shoulder and looking at Milo with concern. His clothes are bright, colorful, and patchwork. The gloom of the forest mutes their color. The trees seem to close in around them.
