Thespian @backcornerbisexual.bsky.social · 25/07/2025

I cosplayed Hiro while on Team Future during the Grand Festival because I didn't have a splatsona back then and so when the fest ended Nintendo probably gave everyone who faced me an aneurysm by posting this, likely not knowing a thing about my ass accidentally predicting canon

To the team air player named bread boy that kept trying to start a squid party, sorry, I would've obliged but I was on a losing streak and you were offering free splats

If anyone's concerned about time frames, I'll stop collecting responses in about mid-August, but you're free to respond afterward anyway in case I remake the documentary on my own terms later. I've already been asked to share it online so the finished product will be put on my YouTube when it's done

Thespian @backcornerbisexual.bsky.social · 06/07/2025

Update I think it's different on the web version because I'm struggling 😂😭 bluesky what the hell

100

Thespian @backcornerbisexual.bsky.social · 06/07/2025

I might put that in the next survey, tbh. Sorry for the long ass reply😅 but yeah, while we definitely need more 4-stars, we need an updated system on getting the one you want. Even if the guarantee pity bar is higher for 4-stars because they come every 10-pull, it's still a useful addition.

110

Thespian @backcornerbisexual.bsky.social · 06/07/2025

It's easy to trigger guaranteed, and if you want a higher-chance one, it works in your favour. Plus it'd give the standard banner enough value and relevance to make spending primogems on its fates worth it to many more players, and ensure that 4-stars not rerunning doesn't cause negative backlash. +

100

Thespian @backcornerbisexual.bsky.social · 06/07/2025

if they're appearing in a current event or new Archon/World Quest, useful for Imaginarium Theatre/Stygian Onslaught/Spiral Abyss, or their region is relevant, their chances are higher of appearing and if not, the chances are lowered a bit. If you want the lowered character, +

100

Thespian @backcornerbisexual.bsky.social · 06/07/2025

Something like the chronicled wish system where you can choose one and if you don't get them, you've got a guarantee. You could even boost or reduce chances of certain characters appearing depending on patch relevance- +

100

Thespian @backcornerbisexual.bsky.social · 06/07/2025

Yeah, 4 stars are an interesting bunch when they're so hard to get. Honestly, I think the best way to go is to give a 4* pity system to Wanderlust Invocation/Standard banner. +
