And, to sign off the year, a couple of mischievous twins. The Rapido yellow Alfreds have become Bill and Ben! Hand-painted and weathered, they'll certainly prove trouble until I finish a Boco and Edward to rein them in...

She started off as a Rapido Wisbech bogie coach that someone (GBHtrain I think?) had done the main chopping to, then ended up with a friend and then me. I added the extra details after scouring pictures and drawings of the prototype, then repainted and weathered her in my usual fashion.

Looks like I forgot to post in a wee while. Well, during this time I have been busy. Here's my Toby and Henrietta, products of Rapido Trains. The Toby was a simple repaint and weathering, Henrietta was a lot more involved...

Thank you! Alas I do not, but that's something I aspire to when I have the room. As well as in 4mm scale, I have done some of the characters in N gauge, which was a fun challenge in the smaller scale

I already had the bits to do this before I bashed a Bachmann Skarloey, and when that perished I decided to get on with this one. I raided the chimney and trailing wheels (as well as some details I previously added) from the original model, which now sits as a husk on my workbench

So, I've been playing around with 009, and by playing I mean going to town on this Meridian Models Talyllyn kit. It's running on a modified N-drive chassis and was certainly a fun project from start to finish. A nice little diversion that totally won't lead to more 009 antics...

Post your most popular art from Twitter ✨ It's the only popular post I can find of mine, and it dates back over 3 years ago! I've certainly done better since, in 2 different scales as well.
