Global Patriot @b21raider.bsky.social · 31mthese are all individuals from those countries volunteering to fight for Ukraine. They in no way represent the official position of their home countries. They are only representing their home countries unofficially. Also, it looks like one of those flags is red China. 100
Global Patriot @b21raider.bsky.social · 32mI know I noticed that too. In any case, these are all volunteers from those countries. They represent their own countries on a personal basis, but not the official position of any of those countries regarding Ukraine. 000

So can they put any significant logistics more than a day's drive from Moscow or St. Petersburg or does it becomes too slow and too costly to make much business sense? But in Russia, that's the only option. 110

Global Patriot @b21raider.bsky.social · 3hAnnular wing concepts are old. The cylindrical wing is more efficient in theory because it eliminates wing tip vortices which create drag. However, it tends to add weight and parasitic drag vs normal wings. Control was an issue in the past, but with multi-rotors, they can use differential thrust. 010

Global Patriot @b21raider.bsky.social · 14hyep, I just answered that in another comment and it's impossible for the satellites to miss ballistic missile launches. They are orbiting very far out in geos like GPS satellites so they have a huge field of view and rocket exhaust is so hot it is impossible to hide from their sensors. 151
Global Patriot @b21raider.bsky.social · 14hTrump refusing to share this intell just means Ukrainian civilians won't be able to take shelter in time. Unless there is another method of detecting launches, like observers on the ground or drones flying in the right place at the right time. All US allies depend on it for reliable early warning. 130
Global Patriot @b21raider.bsky.social · 14hUSA has the space-based infrared system (SBIRS), a constellation of military satellites to detect and track ballistic missile launches immediately, anywhere, anytime for early warning and interception. Europe doesn't have this capability. They are developing Odin's Eye, but it's not yet operational. 261
