kendrick really pulled through by dropping an album on my birthday (also it’s a good album too)

i’m working on my batman 666/batman in bethlehem pitch, currently working out a timeline and deciding who lives & dies

i hate 99% of characters named “max” because it’s almost always short for something like maximillian or maxwell, and because those names are more prevalent people assume it’s my name, which it is not. (not you max mercury, you’re safe goat)

might write out a pitch for Batman 666 soon. it’s a version of Damian that i really like & i have some ideas…

it would probably be a story about kon fully coming to terms with his “parentage”. while i love john’s “boy of steel” it ended with kon pretty much fully rejecting his luthor side, which worked for the time, but it’s time that he actually accepts that half of him is from luthor imo. then i’d see…

1. let him grow up, that boy should be like 20-something now 2. hes not robin anymore, give him something else 3. id go the detective route similar to his time in the red robin book, focusing more on mysteries than beating up bad guys. the mysteries would take him all over & give him the…

it’s not really a storyline, but probably when dick was batman & damian was robin (+tim as red robin) while bruce was lost in the timestream other contenders: the reach in blue beetle (2006), the court of owls, emerald twilight/new dawn, & cassie vs ares from teen titans (2003)

i think it’s probably John’s “Boy of Steel” from Adventure Comics. I’m really biased towards t-shirt era superboy anyway, & this story shows Kon’s struggles & anxieties after learning luthor is his other “father”, which i find interesting

Max @b0yofst3el.bsky.social · 16/11/2024

i’m biased, because i was introduced to both of them while they were dating, but i tend to really like them together. i’m not opposed to them being with other people (as long as cassie isnt with tim) but i like them together

Max @b0yofst3el.bsky.social · 16/11/2024

very dragon ball brained rn, & something i saw someone say got me thinking about the fact that most of the characters introduced in the latter half (Z) are no where near as good martial artists as Tien & Kuririn, they just have more raw power

it’s really hard to just choose a favorite, but the comic i always come back to us Teen Titans, & while i like all of them, more specifically the 2003-2011 run. it was the first mainline comic run i ever read, & it still holds up to me, i still love this book

This app needs polls, group chats and bookmarks. An engagement/discussion based social media feels entirely incomplete without them

i love Tramm. hes so fun. but i also have to ask why did they make up a new character (Tramm) who has pretty much the exact same deal as Lagoon Boy? there’s no way there was an embargo on LAGOON BOY of all characters (i also love Lagoon Boy) idk Tramm is cool tho, glad he exists

Superman. I relate to the struggle of feeling like you're torn between two worlds, an outsider everywhere you go, yet with a distinct flavor of privilege. His struggles throughout life in self-actualization make me feel like my experience isn't isolated. He makes me feel less alone.

listening to some paramore, & while i love misery business you can really tell it was written by a teenager when you listen to it cuz some of the lyrics are kinda wild

my hottest take rn is that i don’t think worlds finest: teen titans is as bad as i’ve seen a lot of people say it’s not amazing or groundbreaking, & it has some not so great characterization in some spots, but overall i think it’s fairly enjoyable

just acquired the death & return of donna troy (teen titans/outsiders crossover) i did pass up on a good number of outsiders books i simply couldn’t justify it to myself
