This is unbelievable. First make it harder for people to access their GP by making them have to apply online, then if this doesn’t put them off (it does!) just strike them off for not getting in touch often enough! Unbelievable 🤦‍♀️

Makes me want to weep 😭 I remember a time when UK academia was considered to be amongst the best in the world. Shame on those letting it fall apart. It serves no good purpose for this to happen. Positive things occur when knowledge is shared from the UK outwards, especially via foreign students.

I have heard that one option for replacing the license fee is to charge for using all platforms ie not just the BBC, which I am on the verge of dumping, but also those that one streams currently eg Netflix (others are available). This would make it impossible to opt out of the BBC 🤬
