Peace. It is important to have a regulated nervous system, be able to relax, and just take a break from the ads. Excitement w/o peace is just consistently having your nervous system excited and not in a balanced state. Excitement needs peace to be balanced. (Vice versa but peace > excitement)

Definitely both. I do want to make that abundantly clear. Hyper individuality is a problem. For the sake of this post, yourself. Only because it’s best to check in with yourself and know if it’s true community or toxin. If toxin, you have to be able to leave. Community w/o yourself leads to abuse.

Damn. Both really. But if I had to choose one first, personal acceptance. I think accepting yourself at each point in your journey is important because it allows you to be a friends you made along the way. Personal growth w/o acceptance means you can’t be accepted w/o improving or perfection.

Also a very difficult one. Both are incredibly important. For this, I’ll say presence. Simply because tomorrow is never promised & it’s important to incorporate joy or whatever you like regularly. Planning without presence leads to your happiness never being reached because it’s in the future.

Friends. They can easily become your chosen family. The family you created. They are easier to hold accountable and often are more willing to understand and listen. I think the family you create should take priority over the family you inherited. Not that you have to abandon the old one though.

Also a very hard one because I feel like these two should also be friends. Not enemies. However, optimism wins out slightly on this because you need to believe in yourself and a better day before it becomes real. Realism without optimism can lead to people being jaded, miserable, and hopeless.

Discernment. It’s important to understand what’s for you and what is not for you. Discernment allows for this. Promiscuity without discernment can lead to dangerous situations or lack of care for your personal health. It needs to be grounded in discernment imo.

These are highly interconnected portions of our wellbeing and work better together as friends than enemies. However, I think mental wellness should come first. Always. Physical wellness is important, but having it in the absence of mental wellness can lead to body dysmorphia and self-hate.

I’ll say. Hmm. This is really hard. I’ll say adventure barely edges out. Because you have to realize some things are worth the money, & you can have adventure without spending a lot. Frugality’s important, but if taken to the extreme where you don’t allow yourself to explore anything is unbalanced.

I’ll say introspection. Simply because having playfulness without any sense of introspection can lead to repeating the same patterns and never learning nor taking accountability. Playfulness is very important, but I think it needs to be grounded with introspection.

It depends on what we’re calling a friend. If it’s an acquaintance you somewhat like & enjoy sleeping with, then definitely yes. If it’s someone you maintain a deep emotional bond with, that begins to blur the line between friendship & relationship for most. Possible? Yea. Probable? No.
