I think probably as good as it gets for a Salah and Haaland draft

Just wanted to say you and Andy are doing great with BlackBox! The Friday night tier list was fun, and adding Friday night “chats” will be an enjoyable addition!

It was more to point out that it will be the same as last year to the people saying “it’s stupid we’ll have a chip active every week” Shame you’re calling it quits! I think with the new rules and good pricing this could be the most exciting season yet

000

Az @az.fplblackbox.co.uk · 22/07/2025

Some do, some don’t. To say I’ve sold out to back my mate on this is mad though when I’ve literally been streaming for years saying I’d like the additional chips. Mark was the one less in favour of them whenever we chatted about them!

100

Az @az.fplblackbox.co.uk · 22/07/2025

Other option is to remove them entirely, which ain’t gonna happen. Having 1 set is the worst way of playing it.

200

Az @az.fplblackbox.co.uk · 22/07/2025

I have literally called for first half of the season chips for 5 years. Literally every season on BlackBox we’ve discussed changes we’d like to see in the game and I’ve said bring them in for the first half. It’s a great addition, cor casuals and engaged managers alike

Az @az.fplblackbox.co.uk · 22/07/2025

Anyone else miss the days when the first you’d hear about a transfer was when the player signed for their new club? All this stuff with Romano and waiting for the “here we go’s” is so tedious. Bring back players randomly signing for clubs with absolutely no warning

Az @az.fplblackbox.co.uk · 19/07/2025

From talking to Mark I think there was 1 case in the entirety of last year where someone in the box put a pass in and it was deflected to someone outside of the box who scored. It just very rarely happens, it’s a very positive change

120

Az @az.fplblackbox.co.uk · 18/07/2025

Double chips now! Don’t forget AM covered 3 GWs last season. So, removing that stupid thing and having double the regular chips means we’ll have chips active for the same amount of Gameweeks as last season anyway 😎 I love it!

There’s been a push for the CWC game and there’s still transfers taking place etc. just doesn’t make sense to launch it until all that dust had settled. I fully expected there to be price reveals by now though. Surely they still do this and it starts early next week?

100

Az @az.fplblackbox.co.uk · 11/07/2025

It was never gonna launch til after the CWC so let’s see what happens early next week

Az @az.fplblackbox.co.uk · 08/07/2025

Proven premier league player. I have seen too many high profile moves from the Bundesliga fail to be swept away by Wirtz. Would love to see him shine though

130

Az @az.fplblackbox.co.uk · 08/07/2025

Cunha’s the best of that lot of transfers I reckon! It’s just a shame about the rest of the squad..

To say I’m devastated to hear this news doesn’t even cut it. Just so, so sad.

Not seeing much talk about the Rental Rights Bill, but it’s going to be an absolutely massive change for both landlords and tenants. No more fixed terms means that a tenant will be able to give two months’ notice at any point, from day one of their tenancy. Coming this year they reckon!

This must be photoshop right 😅

Az @az.fplblackbox.co.uk · 04/06/2025

Yeah so I guess might as well get as much as he can. Apparently united still owe £17m to Dortmund for him too. What a mess

000

Az @az.fplblackbox.co.uk · 04/06/2025

Yeah I reckon they made him a token off like “you can come here and be a squad player” and he probably thinks he’s got more chance of going back to United and getting a similar loan somewhere else and keeping his salary in tact. I kind of get it tbh

110

Az @az.fplblackbox.co.uk · 04/06/2025

Hard to judge without knowing the terms though. They clearly aren’t that interested in him so he could end up on the bench / frozen out. If they offered him 40-50k a week then he needs to be playing otherwise he’s jot playing for 250k less a week lol

110

Az @az.fplblackbox.co.uk · 04/06/2025

You do. I put 20h into it and it was the most miserable experience of my life

100

Az @az.fplblackbox.co.uk · 26/05/2025

Yes. Absolutely. I need to tone it down I think, I’m getting way too caught up in the stats and losing my natural game. Trying too hard to be different too

Az @az.fplblackbox.co.uk · 26/05/2025

Another pretty woeful FPL season comes to an end. Despite that, I placed in a competitive H2H and draft league and finished 16th in the world for @goalscorerc.bsky.social. Shows there’s many ways to enjoy a season if OR isn’t the be all, end all. Have a great summer everyone!
