Citing three dozen sources to qualify the claim that the army fights by defeating its enemies

The "disputed account" in question is an outright lie that firefighters hoisted him out of the rubble of the twin towers

Here is the point. Both sides are not even remotely the same. Your moral grandstanding will harm actual trans people.

If your goal is to teach the liberals a lesson, you need Republicans to win that election. If Amy Acton wins, then your strategy completely backfires, so you need Vivek Ramaswamy to become the next governor of Ohio. www.lgbtqnation.com/2023/08/who-...
Vivek Ramaswamy considers the LGBTQ+ movement to be a "cult," and says trans identity is a mental illness.

"Abbott's decision [to investigate the parents of trans children] was based on AG Ken Paxton's reclassification of gender-afforming care as child abuse."Aleksandra Vaca speaks about her experience as a 19-year old trans woman in Texas.

This person clearly believes there is a negligible amount of daylight between an outright Christian Nationalist, and a moderate Democrat who by the way has a pro-trans voting record from his time in the Texas legislature.

Humans incorrectly say that the top yellow line is longer than the bottom, but they're actually the same. We're not dumb, this optical illusion just exposes a blind spot in how we think (taking perceived distance into account even though it's a 2D image)

I don't care why he wrote it. The story resonated with a lot of people who have seen leftist endeavors grind to a halt because of exactly the mindset displayed there. This IS an unremarkable discussion in leftist spaces. A lesbian bar might go bankrupt because of it. That's what so absurd.

The thing being dunked on is stupid leftist infighting and moral grandstanding. So-called allies are attacking the lesbian bar because they didn't like a new mask policy.

If you told Joseph Stalin that a lesbian bar was ableist because they had one night per week where mask-wearing was optional, he would probably tell you to shut the fuck up

Both of these yellow lines are the same length. But people incorrectly believe the top line is longer. Clearly, something can have "understanding" and still get easy questions wrong

Well, both are true. You and the politician both have leverage on each other. If a politician fails to win votes, they lose. If you fail to support the politician, you have to deal with the alternative. If you invoke your leverage, you'd have to deal with Paxton. Is that acceptable in your opinion?

A3 @aythree.bsky.social · 15/09/2026
That's even more sad and pathetic. Look at what Paxton wants to do to queer art. How can you possibly call yourself an ally when you see a headline like this, and you shrug your shoulders, and you go "Meh, I'm sure Talarico is basically identical."

Articles often contain information. For example,

Attorney General Paxton made it illegal for therapists to treat gender dysphoria by telling kids it's okay to be trans. Any rational person who actually supports trans rights knows that he cannot be allowed to become a senator. Do you disagree? Is Senator Paxton acceptable to you?
200 2
A3 @aythree.bsky.social · 15/09/2026
No, that's what YOU want. By refusing to support Paxton's opponent, this is the stuff you are causing.
300 3
A3 @aythree.bsky.social · 15/09/2026
Your opinion simply is not rooted in reality. Here's a big example. Attorney General Paxton said that any therapist who helps a trans child with their gender dysphoria by saying it's okay to be trans, is committing a crime.

They give direct examples. For example, most healthcare for trans children is hormone therapy, which he still supports. The Republicans are telling you exactly where both sides are not the same. Here is the whole article if you wanted it. americantribune.com/texas-democr...

They quoted his words. Did they fabricate the quote about it being "child abuse" to deny gender dysphoria treatments or something?

These images come from a right-wing news article. They are angry about how much that "genocidal warmongering monster" supports trans rights You are performing outrage and performing moral purity. Any real trans rights activist knows that actual material conditions will be better if Talarico wins

No, you're wrong. In fact, here is a right-wing rag talking about how much they hate Talarico because of his support for trans rights.

People are not black-and-white, politicians are not all-or-nothing. These images, for example, are from a right-wing rag talking about how much they hate Talarico because of his support for trans rights. Any real trans activist knows that one of these candidates is miles better than the other.

That's how neurons work too These two yellow lines are the same length. But our brain doesn't have a measuring tape, it takes a guess based on the input it receives. In this case, our brain improperly compensates for the perception of distance, so we incorrectly think the top line is bigger.

They seem to suggest insulin *improves* memory, and it's diabetes (where your receptors fail to respond to insulin) that may contribute to Alzheimer's. Controlling blood sugar is certainly important for some people (like diabetics). It's not something healthy people need to worry about

This is the equivalent of "thoughts and prayers." This is Susan Collins talking about how "concerned" she is before voting with Republicans anyway. If her committment to Israel would not waver, if she was unwilling to use the levers of power, she might as well be shouting into the void.

This chart seems to lump all city employees into salary/health insurance/pension. But hopefully it conveys the fact that slashing the police budget by itself would be a pittance.

And yet the data shows that those voters (especially men, especially the youth) are increasingly becoming upset with Democrats. You're really invalidating all of the people who responded to these polls. "They voted for me, therefore they must love me, end of story."

A3 @aythree.bsky.social · 02/07/2026
Sorry, I was using "affiliated" as an umbrella term. You'll notice, this poll also includes "lean towards." Even if you aren't literally registered as a member of a party, you can still lean towards it. It indicates black (men especially) have disaffiliated with AND/OR leaned away from Democrats.

People vote for many reasons. Like supporting the lesser evil. Just because you vote Democrat, doesn't mean you LIKE Democrats, it could mean you hate Republicans. So you can't exclusively look at votes. Elderly black voters loved Biden. Young black voters liked him overall, but it was pretty iffy

Your post here seems to only be talking about the results of the Biden 2020 versus Harris 2024 presidential races. The source I linked is about trending party affiliation/party lean over the course of decades. It's not the same thing as what you posted.

There are supposedly "mountains of data" in support of whatever policies are being talked about here. Those aren't my words, those are her words. What are "forced assimilation" policies? If the data supports it, why are you guys criticizing it so passionately?
