Thanks to Bucks Fire & Rescue for welcoming me to the station! The teams do a wonderful job of keeping the community safe. I really like their emphasis on risk assessment & prevention as much as response. We’re lucky to have an Urban Search and Rescue team based here too, with a national remit.

Following my discussion with business owners & Aylesbury Town Council last month, I raised with the Leader of the House the need to tackle anti-social behaviour & promote respectful behaviour in our town. I was pleased to hear her confirm this will be covered in the upcoming Crime & Policing Bill.

Just in from mammoth interview session to two bits of news. One that a DV perp got locked up because of something I did and that a vulnerable constituent had a a massive wrongful debt written off after our intervention. This is why I came to politics, this is why I'll just keep cracking on.

Many constituents have been in touch about the anti-Hindu violence in Bangladesh. Freedom of religion is a fundamental right & these acts of violence are unacceptable. Today I raised it again with Minister @catherinewestmp.bsky.social & I know she will keep pressing the Government of Bangladesh.

A lot of people, regardless of politics, think AI art is a bit cool or novel and harmless - I personally am not of this opinion, I DO think it harmful and artless, and am keen to share info to that point.

No problems at all, I look forward to reading it. I believe it important for people/parties at all levels to be aware of the green/red flags of new tech. It is important that a party of government presents with good optics. If AI "art" has the aesthetic of Fascism, I'm keen to keep us far from it.
