thinking about vespillo in solution nine. it's not the technology that bothers him- that part feels vaguely familiar- it's the absence of ceruleum smell. no acrid fumes or lingering scents, no grime on the buildings. electrope feels eerily "clean".

If it's at all reassuring, trying to write a description of one's self that isn't relentlessly negative or at the very least self-sabotagingly humble is very difficult and idk how people do it either!

Kuzhuk is an old, old Bairon who took to drinking blood as a source of water in the merciless expanse of the Nhaama Desert- of beasts at first, then of travelers. He's become somewhat of a folktale, as the life-sustaining properties of his diet have kept him... unusually fresh over the centuries.

In 1994 you could order a five-pack of COMPILE Okonomiyaki Sauce via postal mail. Only 500 sets were made at a price of 3000 yen with a Hiroshima okonomiyaki recipe included, (Hiroshima being famous for the dish, and the headquarters of game developer COMPILE at the time). Via: Disc Station 04.

it's cool that HS just does not have a way to flag broken mods other than "reach out to the creator directly"

020

any chort in a storm @ayatlan.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

also this is not on the modder in question but it bums me out that there *is* a tbse cub port of the oasis doublet and it makes part of the arms invisible.

010

any chort in a storm @ayatlan.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

like I know I know you only care about highlanders but it's kind of astounding that the happiness set has broken textures, the moonfire happi has really fucked up weights so the undershirt is trying to escape to the side, and the thavnairian bustier just scrumbles your left arm all to hell

110

any chort in a storm @ayatlan.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

really what I *should* try to learn is how to un-break every TBSE chonk midlander set that *redacted* has ever published because I think literally all of them are broken

100

any chort in a storm @ayatlan.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

alternatively: I am unusually stupid and should not be trying to make vanilla upscales

110

any chort in a storm @ayatlan.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

it's ironically so simple and low-poly that trying to follow standard preparation guides gets confusing and I really should have tried to learn this with a later gearset

110

any chort in a storm @ayatlan.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

on the other hand, trying to port the latter was a huge pain in the ass that I gave up on so I get it

110

any chort in a storm @ayatlan.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

there are some pieces in the game where I'm genuinely shocked that there's not just a vanilla tbse port. like. really? no gryphonskin breastguard/pantlettes? no coliseum sets?
