At the edge of the old shore, laid a canyon between the Eldreef Floor and The Kiln. At its end was a grand gate of cosmic stone, of which those against all recognized virtue sought refuge. 24 hours on the canvas. #art #artwork #novel #writer #writersky #fantasy #landscape

Happy Autumn y’all! The equinox was yesterday, and I really can’t wait for the weather to cool down. I really like the idea of festivals for the equinox in my novel and I wanted to depict some of that here. #art #sketchbook #oc #artsky #novel #writersky

I know I have been very inactive lately. I was playing Silksong. I have now beat the True Ending. New art soon (hopefully) #silksong #hollowknight #hollowknightsilksong

I’m roughly 3 hours into Silksong. initial thoughts (Spoilers Ahead, Obviously) 1/ OH MY GOD THIS GAME IS LIKE, ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. The game is absolutely just as stunning as HK with visuals and music, and a lot more polished. The real early game is also way better than HK’s. But the MOVEMENT OMG

Silksong is real. I had the store page open so I could add it to cart minute one. Managed to squeeze by before the steam servers collapsed entirely. #silksong #hollowknight

I put on the music from the new Kirby DLC, zoned in, and wound up painting some novel-locale desert. Honestly wasn’t sure on what I was doing, but it turned out pretty okay. (The Kirby composers deserve a raise cuz DANG the new music slaps) #art #artist #oc #writer #author #novel #wip

The listening to Deltarune music to ranting to a friend about novel ideas pipeline is very much real. The song was “Friends” from chapter 4 by the way. #novel #author #booksky #writersky #deltarune #writer #oc #wip

Practicing character poses and anatomy Also showing off some magic concepts. I like the idea of Royaki manipulating decayed leaves and sticks, as well as wind, to create wings he can glide with. Fit for a character who’s more of a support than a fighter, and pretty agile #art #oc #artsky #writer

Messing around with some design ideas/improvements. Wanted to try mixing in some of the more robe-like attire that the rest of the cast has with Axie’s typical swimwear-like clothes. Im slowly figuring out clothing culture for this world #art #artsky #writersky #oc #booksky

Height references for the main cast! (Or sketches at least). Its still susceptible to tweaks but for the most part this is fairly accurate. Im going to do the supporting cast (The Archivist, Valerie, Kiavelle, Rinzael) tomorrow. #art #oc #novel #writer #author #booksky #writersky #artsky

Finally deciding to make a proper OC height ref sheet. I usually just kinda play it by ear in my art, but I could use the anatomy practice and it’ll be helpful when writing. #oc #artist #writer #novel #writing #artsky #writersky #booksky

Oshulin, the Protector He’s not a character in the novel, but one of the important figureheads of the world history, from roughly around the time when Valerie and Kinyai were busy trying to stop the Great Season War, as well as part of the creation of the Sirens as a group. #art #oc #artsky #ocart
