Ok I am done deliberating on this. Bit of a PSA for anyone who follows me. I am now drawing a very clear line in seperating my spaces. @axalon.bsky.social will be my designated SFW space for all my normal posts going forward.

Small observation made. Figured I would ask all of you. So just humour me a bit. It's Rhetorical. Do you want me to separate my SFW media and NSFW media into 2 accounts? I ask because I am noticing a pattern amongst some of you who like to keep things very separate at a strict level.

Alright, real talk for a moment. I think it's time to... talk about money. Yeah, I know. Honestly, I'm not in there for the money. Like, at all. I'm having fun, that's the point. However, running an infrastructure costs money. NOW, let's be real. Not THAT much money. Thread:

Hey all, Sharing the following update on Gulpr here via image as it goes a bit behind the text limits here. TL;DR: Gulpr is being pulled back into private alpha for now, Patreon is paused, and anyone who'd like their initial Patreon payment refunded just needs to let the team know.

Hi everyone,
This isn’t an easy post for us to write, but we want to be open and honest with you.

We have decided to take Gulpr offline for the time being and continue working on it in private.

We want to explain that Gulpr was always a very small app between a small group of friends and testers. It was never meant to be launched at scale. As you can probably guess, what was meant to be a small, contained project has exploded in ways that were never envisioned. The issue is that it has done so very quickly, and we’re just not able to adjust to that level of growth in a reasonable timeframe without it negatively impacting us as a team.

We want to be clear that this isn’t us saying that Gulpr is a failure or that we’re abandoning the project. We’re working hard on plans to bring Gulpr back in a healthier and more sustainable way. This includes moving away from the invite only model altogether, so that when Gulpr is brought back, it can be done so in a way that makes sense and isn’t confusing or pressurised.

To all the patrons that supported us on Patreon, thank you. Thank you. You had no idea how much that meant to us. We’re pausing all Patreon payments.

If you would like a refund, please email support@slosh.dog
with your Patreon email and details and we’ll sort that out for you.

The current situation has taken a real toll on our mental health. We’re not equipped to handle this level of demand or intensity right now, and pushing forward in this state wouldn’t be healthy for anyone involved.

we want to ask that no one directs any hate, anger, or aggression towards anyone. There’s no one to be mad at. We’re just a team that got put into a position we never expected, and the best thing for everyone is for us to take a step back.

Thanks to all the people who tested our stuff, shared feedback, and showed us love and support for what we were trying to create. We appreciate it, even if this isn’t the outcome any of us expected.

Again,
If you supported our patron, we're very grateful for the support but if you would like a refund just contact us at support@slosh.dog with your patreon details and we will issue the refund asap.

Normally I do not do these types of re-shares but I feel this one is absolutely necessary. Im calling upon those in my bluesky network to offer any possible amount of financial assistence to her. Only 7 days left for her vehicle to be recovered from the impound. Try earning money without a car. 🚫
