This is concerning! The bottom 50% of households by wealth account for 3% of the wealth. The challenge with this is that these are the people that are utilizing all of their income for daily living expenses. They do not have the capacity to build wealth, which requires savings and investment. 🧵

The (Iowa) state legislature still has not taken action on the school finance bill. The session is scheduled to end on May 2 so there isn't a lot of time left and the legislature still has to deal with property tax reform. Call or write your legislators and kindly ask them to do their jobs!
