iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

CADET MEGA EVOLUTION. This prompt gave me a chance to push my cadet design a bit, so now Aisling has gone from an annoyed dragon tamer, to a very pissed off half-dragon. #chromacorps2026

My Chroma Corps cadet for this year. Aisling the reluctant dragon tamer. She hates her job but the pay is good and the danger benefits are amazing. #chromacorps2026 #characterdesign #dragons

I was rewatching The Illusionist (2010) to capture some ref and I swear every frame of it is just perfection.

I’ve always loved the juxtaposition of animated characters and the real world. This photo has been on my camera roll for a while and I thought I would have a go. Bonus points if you can geoguess where this is. #charactersketch #witch #Procreate

I’ve been playing with some brush settings in procreate to try get a good feeling brush pen. This is the closest I’ve gotten so far. #Procreate #sketch #portrait

I love crisp lineart but my figures often end up looking stiff. I’m trying to focus on gesture and shape language to break out of that #sketch #procreate

I’ve been iterating this design for a while now, but I think its getting to a good place. Might use this guy in some short comics or little animations. #characterdesign #cartoon

Last run of Kimodameshi figures. I didn't fully complete the challenge as moving back to Germany took up a bit too much time. But completion was never the point. My drawing muscles needed the exercise and now I'm excited to move onto new projects. #Kimo7 #kimodameshi

Digital sketches of three figures. One is a muscular mma fighter in a crouched position with his finger to his lips. One is a male ballerina doing a high leg kick. One is a luchador sitting on the ropes of the ring resting his head on his hand.

Digital sketch of two figures. One is a female taekwondo fighter holding her leg up high. One is a female longboard skater balancing on one leg on her board.

Digital sketch of a figure in delicate thin lineart. The figure is a girl dressed in overalls and wearing glasses leaning casually against a electrical pole.

Line art done! I love using Blender to help figure out the perspective and layout for a scene I have in my head. The line art is usually my favourite part, and I more often struggle with colour and rendering. What's the toughest part of the process for you?

I did this imagining a Die Hard-like fantasy where the characters would try to survive their city being invaded. Would be fun to evolve this concept further at some point.

When adventurers don't want to go to a dark and seedy pub, they go to Emily's Kiosk instead. This was inspired by a cute kiosk I visited in a village in Germany that was built into an old windmill.
