Today’s makeup was also…a choice. One of my students was like “YOU. ARE. SO. SPARKLY!!!!!” Yes, the eye foil was a choice. I’ve been shedding glitter all day and my face is itchy. lol. But look at my pretty necklace! It’s a real leaf.

Testing out another new mask. This is the kind you leave on for at least 90 minutes. Complaints: extremely difficult to get out of the packet, extremely difficult to put on my face. Very slimey, but it’s supposed to be. We’ll see how much this dries down, hardens, and turns clear by bedtime!

It left Halifax for Montreal, and was floating in the harbour, looking like outside the shipping lane, near McNabs/Purcell’s Cove (so south of PPP). 2 tugs went to rescue, & it’s now pointing back into the harbour

Yesterday in class I played a video about Bower Birds to my students, then compared it to The Little Mermaid and sang a little song ("look at this stuff? Isn't it neat? Don't you think my collection's complete?"), and asked the students if they thought the movie was based on these birds. Well.

You know what hurts? My feet. And ankles. And lower legs. And knees. And kinda not my thighs for once. And my hips. My hips hurt a lot, actually. It’s nice to have a bunch of deep, “shuttering” bone pain but apparently don’t qualify for a bone density scan. I’m too young to be falling apart.

I just saw an ad for a pair of fleece-lined leggings, advertised as 7/8-length, or "sits just above ankle for a cropped look". Scanned the product listing to see if I could find an inseam length. Oh, yep, there it is. 25 inches. HILARIOUS. (my inseam is 34". This is why ALL my pants are cropped)
