I was getting myself & kids ready for school (I worked at the school), when I saw this on TV. At school teachers wheeled a TV from the AV room, into the staff room, and took turns during the morning going and watching the updates, minding each others classroom. Such an unbelievable day.

Crap. My brother has been waiting for a complicated surgery for a year. It was supposed to be on Wednesday, so he came down yesterday from caribou area to get the prep done. Only to find out it was cancelled because of the nurses strike.
