I just finished reading The Hobbit to my elementary aged kids. They both read well, and the older definitely could have read it on her own. Reading to my kids is one of my greatest joys, and I’m pretty sure they love it too. Some people just aggressively don’t want to be parents.

Thank you for not confusing a suggestion with a recommendation. Lots of places with better food. However it’s the most San Antonio place that ever existed. Sit by the mural, have a drink at the bar, get some stale pan dulces, it’s the experience.

Speaking of concentration camps in Texas, it’s worth pointing out that Jan Jarboe Russell died last week. Her book “The Train to Crystal City” is fantastic and heartbreaking in its telling of the US Camp that held Japanese, German and Italian families during WWII.
