His path is the crushing monotony of capitalist existence.
A good little cog, being ground to dust by an uncaring system.
He can’t even recognize himself in the mirror — not that he
ever could, if he was honest. Nobody could understand, surely,
and nobody would believe him anyway.
Too old to hope things would change and too scared to even
try another way, his only solace is the world of Heroes and
Villains, but even that escape has lost its luster. Ever since she
left, nothing feels right any more.
The cougar desperately needs change; to feel something, to
feel anything. He needs one kind voice to acknowledge him.
Someone to tell him that there's a choice. Someone to hold his
paw while he takes that first step, and help him blaze his own
trail. Maybe then — through the ashes and the smoke — the
puma can find herself, and what it means to live...
