Gilvetmab, the only commercial veterinary checkpoint inhibitor, is conditionally licensed for canine melanoma and mast cell tumors. Some dogs respond, and adverse events are generally manageable. Watch for immune-mediated toxicities and pseudoprogression. jav.ma/gilvetmab
