🎉First solo flight completed 🎉 Arjun was a mentee with us last year, and successfully secured a place on the easyJet MPL scheme; last week they flew solo for the first time! This is such an exciting milestone on the journey to commercial pilot, and we're so proud of them 🙌

Aviation in Reach were at Farnborough 2026 as part of the Pioneers of Tomorrow day. Mentor Tara & Trustee Katy supported the free mentoring session, speaking to young women considering aviation careers. They're both hopeful that they helped encourage some of them to pursue a career in aviation!

Ever wondered what it's like to face a group exercise assessment? Here's one we recently ran for our mentees: It's 9pm, the airport has been closed for an electrical failure & due to reopen at 10pm. All departing aircraft must be airborne by 11pm due to nighttime curfew...(1/5)
