I had to go to the office today for a Corporate-wide meeting for the first time this year. It really takes a lot of time and effort to get ready…. And I won’t even talk about the traffic. They said business attire but I didn’t think my normal work outfit of shorts and a t-shirt was appropriate.

Best stock purchase of 2024: SoundHound AI (SOUN). Bought 1000 shares for $4.86/share in August. Today it closed at $13.33/share. 174% return in 4 months is not bad. I won’t talk about the two stocks I missed on. Still holding one , though, hoping for a turnaround.

My biggest question about the election is how did our GOTV effort fail. The phone banks, door knocking, etc was all heavily in the Dems favor. Republicans outsourced theirs to Elon and Charlie Kirk.

This should be the Dems project 2025-2028. It’s time to come to the harsh realization that FL and TX are too far gone so we begin mass migrations of Dems to battleground states.

My parents were always moderate common sense Republicans but when they retired 20 years ago they became loyal Fox viewers. Now at 84 and 82, they are just batshit crazy. Has anyone else had their family relationships breakdown due to the toxic nature of everything Tump?
