#Hobbystreak 256. Jim Raynor was a seriously pleasant kit to build. The drone is kind of neat and if nothing else it will make a good test model. I was hoping to get them primed tomorrow but it's supposed to rain all day so I will need to find something else to do.

#Hobbystreak 255. The Cavaliers return. Relations between our employer Alyina and the merc company Tread of Doom have broken down over a murder charge. The Tread attempts to break out their imprisoned man and the Cavaliers as the closest unit are forced to intercept.

#Hobbystreak day 253. Head first back into terrain painting. Thankfully it was a slow work day so I got quite a bit done. I finished the trees I prepped the other night and then got everything else drybrushed. One this is done every piece of terrain I have will be painted.

#Hobbystreak day 252. I needed a break from terrain painting. Tonight was our Old World club night and I played a 750pt battlemarch game against our Bretonnia. It was a slug fest of a game and ended in a draw despite my Shugengan's best attempts to blow himself up miscasts.

#Hobbystreak day 251. The bunker and trenches came out really nicely if I do say so myself. The monument one step paints have come in very handy considering the sheer amount of paint I have needed for covering everything. I also drybrushed the next set of trees.

#Hobbystreak day 249. Before I start on my next big winter projects I wanted to take some time out and get all my 40k terrain painted. Today I kicked it off by doing a bunch of dry brushing on trees and a bit of testing with slap chop.

#Hobbystreak day 241. The Royalston Cavaliers are back on a new contract. The Alyina Mercantile League has contracted for a garrison company. Pirates have raided their garrison world attempting to loot clan tech supplies with the Cavaliers taking the field to stop them.

#Hobbystreak day 213. It was a cavaliers campaign day. With no contracts appearing some of the mech pilots decided to enter into the local arena circuit. It was a good showing by the Cavaliers though the mecha in the heavy division took a serious beating.

#Hobbystreak day 210. I played a 500pt game against high elves and felt a bit like I was kicking a puppy. He tried charging 3 chariots into Jade warriors and rubber lanced. Then I wiped him out in the ongoing combats that followed. After that all he had left were 10 archers.

#Hobbystreak day 209. Valten is getting pretty close to done. I painted the gold using the same recipe I use for my custodes with the hope it shows up more strongly. We will have to see how it looks tomorrow when I get a chance to apply the washes.
