Played through Mouthwashing today. Really interesting way to tell a story, lots of creepy visuals. Was more of a visual novel than I was expecting but it was a good time.

I love the song Rain Dogs by Tom Waits and il always associate with Archie at this point because he came into my life after wandering into my workplace after we had heavy rainstorms. He was malnourished and soaked but he recovered and he’s been a beloved family member ever since.

It was supposed to be the first one I believe. Which makes sense if you watch it again, put bookending segments with The Crypt Keeper and it would be seamless

DEATH BECOMES HER- A stone cold classic. Genuinely funny and bizarre with effects that still look amazing to this day. Everyone is so good in this but Streep is the MVP with all the body horror comedy she was delivering despite the grueling process to make it happen with the effects.

BEHIND THE MASK: THE RISE OF LESLIE VERNON- This was an instant favorite when I first watched it. A fun slasher that walks to the line between mockumentary and genuine love letter to the genre that isn’t afraid to be silly but doesn’t go so far as it comes off as a full blown parody

Really enjoying Night of 100 Frights, honestly I’m kind of mad I didn’t play it on its release. It’s got some of the 2000’s jank to it that can be mildly annoying but the amount of love for Scooby-Doo in the presentation and everything makes that very easy to forget!

Fair like I don’t shame anyone who is going through it. It’s just funny to think I bounced off of it re-read a book in a fairly forgotten series of junior novels. Like they aren’t even the highly regarded SW novels

I forget the exact conversation but during last nights stream I realized how Aisha Clan-Clan was pretty much the apex of anime crushes for me at early age and any lady afterwards was just…eh. I still don’t need anyone else!

I shamefully had to tap out with Super GnG. Teenage me would be ashamed! I forgot what a gauntlet trying to beat the last stretch of the game with the Goddess Bracelet is. I do hope to return and right my wrong down the road but for not I'm working on getting the gang together for next stream...

SLIME CITY MASSACRE- The follow up to SLIME CITY that is bigger and even grosser with a post apocalyptic theme. Really fun movie that turns into action film at times and even has a fun about to the gold standard of melt movies STREET TRASH

As cliche as it is to say I feel I learned a lot about human nature during the last bunch of years how it’s not worth trying to fight against it. You can be an optimist and hope for the best and want to see the best but sometimes things just are what they are and you have to accept it and progress

Nearing end of the year introspection. It’s been an interesting couple of years. I don’t want to say “great” but I feel I got broken down enough to rebuild myself somewhat better. While I’ve become more withdrawn I feel I’ve grown to enjoy more things about myself and care less about outside things
