intriguingly i can't find a single colour image of the Dr Beaks logo anywhere. the Roadchef website on wayback machine clearly had it at some point but the images themselves aren't saved. look at that "special breading" copy. he wanted to be the colonel soooo bad

found out today that wimpy launched a kfc rival exclusive to motorway services. not only was it called DR BEAKS but this was the logo... unsurprisingly this name and branding only lasted from 1999 to 2003

i'm so proud of this lol and yea it's captured from an actual tape. ive never seen an easily accessible vhs filter that looks particularly convincing i should do more stuff like this for LCF and otherwise. i really wanna put some episodes of Andor on tape so that will def be a future project
