It was bittersweet - they had a tribute to Peter Cullen at the beginning which broke my little nerd heart, but in all this was a bucket list experience (with the bucket to prove it!) and it made my heart happy that she enjoyed it as much as I did. RIP Peter.

Took my 8 year old daughter to watch the 40th anniversary showing of The Transformers: The Movie. Fun fact: I was 8 years old when it came out, and yet for both of us it was put first time seeing in the theater on the big screen (my parents didn’t want me to see it because it had “bad words” in it 😅

For the record, the deep freeze was sealed, no water got in. But without being able to run it I had to get the food out before it spoiled. This was like a hidden treasure. And also for the record? Absolutely delicious.

So we had a bunch of flooding in my hometown and my deep freeze was caught up in 3ft of water (about a meter for my overseas pals). Upshot? Found these pre-inflation beauties waiting for me as I cleaned it out and my god they look incredible. I’m gonna feast tonight!

Nintendo absolutely ATE with this Nintendo Direct. I saw so many things I want to experience, and with their announcement for The Legend of Zelda, Ocarina of Time… I’m excited in ways I can’t put to words. One of the best gaming experiences I’ve ever had and I can’t wait to experience it anew!

The bun was nice and I enjoyed the crispy onions both on the burger and scattered all over the bottom of the box (reminiscent of the “crunchies” from Long John Silvers), but it’s too much meat, with an underwhelming sauce and lackluster toppings. I couldn’t finish it and would not order another.

Welp. I did it. First in the drive thru line for the new “Big Arch” on launch day. I promise you, it will never look this good in box ever again. I waited a full 15 minutes for this guy. But OK, was it worth it? In all, not really. It was like eating a bougie double quarter pounder.

I bought the Xbox ONE as a brand loyalist. I had a Wii, a 360 and a PS3 and the 360 quickly became my daily driver. So when Xbox ONE was announced I was all in. I never even owned a PS4. But wow… what a disappointment Xbox has been since that release. I hope new leadership can turn things around.

I think the NES redesign is the most dramatic, followed maybe by the Genesis. As far as best though? Still going with the top-loading NES. Lets you look at that sweet sweet game artwork while you play, which almost all of the others (except you, PlayStation) already did very well to begin with.

Yeah, FF8 definitely can be a little clunky. The crazy assortment of baddies, the story, and the combat are highly rewarding. One of the very few games I ever hit 100% completion on, so I’m very fond of it. Would LOVE to see a remake. Honestly would love to see a modern remake of I and IV as well 😅

Another kitty can go one of two ways. Either they’re best friends or mortal enemies. Problem with best friends is, they’ll probably both gang up on you in all new creative ways while you stream 😅 I recommend some sort of treat maze or other mental stimulation that you can offer her while you stream.

Ok no wait… how the fuck is 1986 only 16 years before 2002? Like the math adds up sure, but the 1980s were nowhere close to the 2000s. I remember playing Vice City thinking “ahh, the sights and sounds of a bygone era” and feeling it was a lifetime away, not just some sub-adult’s entire lifespan. 😵‍💫
