Welp. Just ordered a Snapmaker U1. Hope it was a good decision!

Took my 8 year old daughter to watch the 40th anniversary showing of The Transformers: The Movie. Fun fact: I was 8 years old when it came out, and yet for both of us it was put first time seeing in the theater on the big screen (my parents didn’t want me to see it because it had “bad words” in it 😅

So we had a bunch of flooding in my hometown and my deep freeze was caught up in 3ft of water (about a meter for my overseas pals). Upshot? Found these pre-inflation beauties waiting for me as I cleaned it out and my god they look incredible. I’m gonna feast tonight!

Nintendo absolutely ATE with this Nintendo Direct. I saw so many things I want to experience, and with their announcement for The Legend of Zelda, Ocarina of Time… I’m excited in ways I can’t put to words. One of the best gaming experiences I’ve ever had and I can’t wait to experience it anew!

I’ve been… well… not streaming for a little while. Sorta quiet-quit the whole thing for a bit. BUT! I have not given up. I’m in the process of building an entirely new streaming space and really looking forward to getting back into it when I’m finished. I have new ideas for you all so stay tuned!

That u Trailbreaker? Saw this cool guy with his retro livery today and was immediately sent back to 1984. Nice throwback to the Toyota Hilux 4x4. What do we think? Should more modern vehicles get this sort of retro treatment?

Welp. I did it. First in the drive thru line for the new “Big Arch” on launch day. I promise you, it will never look this good in box ever again. I waited a full 15 minutes for this guy. But OK, was it worth it? In all, not really. It was like eating a bougie double quarter pounder.

That’s was weird. I suddenly noticed a BUNCH of new BlueSky accounts I had to report for frequently posting unwanted content. Oh well. Reported AND blocked.

Just played some Toejam and Earl again for the first time in a long time tonight. I forgot how much I LOVE this game. It’s straight fun, and the random worlds mean it never really gets old. If you’ve slept on this game until now, give it a go. It’s available on Nintendo Switch Online on the Genesis!

So. Sora 2 huh? Listen first and foremost, and if you know me you already know this but for everyone else: I am a technophile. I love technology. I embrace new tech as fully as I can - it’s just what fires me up. This includes AI. I play with it and fight with it. It’s a curious technology. 🧵1/8

You know what movie I really liked as a kid? The Money Pit. I don’t really know why - it wasn’t really made for me, but it was funny, and easy enough for me to pick up on without needing any major prior life experience. As a bonus, I find it’s even more relatable since becoming a home owner 😅😒.

Taking a hot shower, as hot as I like, for as long as I like, is one of my favorite comforts. The world melts away and the thoughts go quiet, and in that brief time I either have the grandest epiphanies or complete mental disconnection and it. Is. Glorious.

The Marauder (Menasor) set from FansToys is finally complete. This faithful, masterpiece-scale recreation of the G1 Transformers cartoon Stunticon team comprised of 5 members - Breakdown, Dead End, Dragstrip, Wildrider, and Motormaster - is so big that he can’t even stand on my shelf. I LOVE it!!!!!

I just played Marvel Vs Capcom 2 on Dreamcast yesterday and omg it felt like playing at the arcade. I know, I know that’s what everyone says about Dreamcast, but damnit it’s different when you experience it yourself and it really caught me in an emotional place I wasn’t expecting.

hi friends 🤍 Pepper has vestibular disease and one of the only ways we can ever get answers is through an MRI - starts at $3500. As of now, we’re just trying to keep up with medication/vet bills to keep him comfortable.

So. Slight format change coming soon. As much as I love playing big-story games with you all it’s pretty hard to maintain when I only get to stream once a week for just a few short hours. So moving forward, we’ll be playing more level or progression-based games we can easily pick up and go with.

Wow. Just wow. I was genuinely impressed and surprised by Metal Gear Solid. Even after all these years, it really holds up. It’s tough and exciting, and it took my 3 hours to finish what I thought was the end of the game 😅. Thanks everyone for sharing this adventure with me!

I’m confused… some people have a switch 2 already but they’re surprised it doesn’t work ahead of launch day?

000

Autobot Spike @autobotspike.bsky.social · 22/05/2025

If you preordered a switch 2 from Walmart, check your order status. My buddy got his cancelled for a bullshit reason and they want to give him $10 and an “I’m sorry” rather than make it right. 😩

So. Let’s see… shall I start listing my backlog so I can shame myself into completing it? Metal Gear Solid V TLoZ: Twilight Princess (dnf) TLoZ: Skyward Sword (dnf) Starfield (dnf) FF7 Rebirth Bioshock Infinite Halo Infinite Campaign (dnf) Dead Island 2 DLC Luigi’s Mansion 2 (dnf) Elden Ring (dnf)

So I WILL be streaming again soon. I’ve been spending some time improving my printers and unfortunately the only free time I have is also the same time I usually stream 😅Thanks for hanging in there! Next stream: Defeating Metal Gear Rex. Latest upgrade: Sonic the Printhog’s “gotta go fast!”

There are few snacks I remember as fondly as Cheetos Paws. Sure, they could cut the roof of your mouth worse than Capn’ Crunch, but nothing else was as uniquely satisfying as hoovering those cheesy, paw-shaped goodies while on an all night Street Fighter II bender in the basement with your besties.🐆

Further update on Walmart Pre-orders. After wasting my time last night when I should have been sleeping, on a whim I tried to order a Switch 2 this morning while getting ready for work and it was LAUGHABLY EASY. Seriously, click, click, done. ANNNYWAY. I guess I have a Switch 2 preordered!

You’d think I’d learn by now that preorders from Walmart are a fucking joke. Waited “in line” for 45 minutes, then had 5 minutes to preorder. Spent that plus an additional 10 minutes refreshing and got the same error over and over. Going to bed because this is dumb.
