#amquerying authors whose stories have darker themes- as one of you, I've received several query passes specifically citing the dark theme as the reason for the pass. I know it isn't for everyone, and that's okay. But it's made me wonder /🧵

Is it just me or is Pinterest coming on reallyyy strong lately? Like yes, I did click that picture, but it’s not the only thing I ever want to see again. I’m here to think I’m finding all these great images via my artistic prowess and superior taste. Don’t ruin the illusion, bestie. Less is more. 🫶

I regret to inform my writing goals that I just spent two hours looking at vintage cream and sugar sets on etsy (but highly recommend nippon porcelain if you're looking for a good time)

I wasn't able to be as active during #2025pit as I wanted, but I saw some great pitches and added to my growing TBR. 👀 Thank you for the support! And dang, I just really love coming up with new ways to pitch my story.

Excited to share my #litagents guide for the first time on this platform! The adult romantic fantasy novel I #amquerying is NINTH HOUSE x EMILY WILDE with a healthy pour of gothic vibes and a vampire lord who falls first. 🥂

Agents' Guide to Belan and the Bones of Evil, adult romantic vampire fantasy by Lavender Leonidas.

Pitch: A human college student spying on a vampire lord grapples with her growing feelings for him as they rush to cure a mysterious vampire disease and avert an interspecies war.

Blurb: Troubled college researcher Belan Knězová is juggling her tranquilizers with her reference materials as she tries to find a cure for a vampire disease that could launch her academic career into superstardom. Her headmistress tasked her to spy on Leo Wade, the Vampire Lord Regent of Europe and her
host for the summer, but
she never expected her interest in his fang to
surpass the scientific. Growing closer
to Leo makes Belan question what she’s been taught about vampires, and who might stand to gain from anti-vampire prejudice. She and Leo race to find a cure before the fragile truce between the species crumbles into war, and before Belan loses her
mind completely.

Tropes and themes: historical AU 1952 England. Slow burn forbidden romance. Vampire x human. Touch her and d!e. mental health rep with no magical cure. Dark academia.
