Had to buy a new robovac (after only 2.5 years 😡). Maks paid no attention to the old one. The new one is much quieter (I can have a phone conversation) but apparently needs a LOT more supervision!

I’m batting 1,000 on shoes. 2 weeks ago, the sole on one of my trainers fell off…at the airport. Today, I was wondering what the mess on my car’s floorboard was & why walking felt so weird. Found out when I got home!

That was odd! Heard a weird noise out on the deck. Not quite a kerfuffle between cats but almost as loud. Looked up to see 5 turkey vultures perched on the railing. One left as soon as I went to the door but the other 4 had to be convinced. 1st time since we moved in they’ve done that. Glad there were no cats out there. There truly would have been a kerfuffle then (and probably some hurt cats).

Hey sis! I told a coworker about your books and she read the first one last weekend. here is her review: I really liked it. The whole plot was original, which is hard to do in that genre, and with all the characters and plot setup, it leaves it open for a lot more books in the series. She plans to read the others this weekend. YAY for big sis!!!!!

From my FB feed this morning. Hubby & I were talking about this last night as gas was 30 cents higher per gallon yesterday than last week.

I always find it amazing that oil can have a big drop in price and it takes weeks for it to show up in gasoline prices, but the minute it rises, it’s immediately reflected in the price of gasoline at the gas station.

I love living in the woods…except for this time of year. 30 minutes of using the leaf blower, then around 8 hours of scooting on my butt, picking out leaves, seeds, and twigs that are stuck between the stones just to clear the paths. Thankfully it’s still too early to work on the beds.

Herbal compress is a spa treatment of herbs wrapped in muslin and heated through. This is a good choice for the wear of winter on our joints. (I will attest that a) my compresses don't look so pretty and b) they really do feel good.) #herbs

Jasmine is one of the most expensive essential oils there is. Why? It takes about 2,000 pounds of tiny flowers to make one pound of oil. There's so little EO in each blossom that the dried herb really doesn't smell like much. But oooh, sometimes the price is worth it! #herbs
