Some sunshine filtering through the leaves as they begin the autumn color change. It's nice when the #PNW fall #weather cooperates for a picture, lol. #BlueskyArtShow #photography #art #nikon #naturephotography

A close-up photograph of delicate tree branches reaching across the frame, adorned with leaves transitioning through autumn colors—greens mixed with vibrant yellows and hints of orange-red. Warm golden sunlight streams through the foliage from behind, creating a soft, hazy glow and highlighting the translucent quality of the leaves. The background is a darker, blurred forest setting, which makes the sunlit foreground branches stand out prominently. The overall mood is peaceful and captures the gentle beauty of a sunny day in early autumn

Another shot from my foggy Autumnal stroll. Took a good amount of color out of the image to give it a vibe. #photography #art #nikon #naturephotography

A solitary tree with dense brownish-red foliage stands alone in a field of tall golden-brown grass. The tree has multiple trunks branching into a broad, rounded canopy. The sky behind is pale gray and overcast, creating a hazy, atmospheric backdrop. Mist or fog softens the distant horizon, giving the scene a quiet, contemplative mood. Tall wispy grasses rise in the foreground, framing the tree.

Went out the other morning before the fog burned off. This field was covered in #spider webs, all glistening with dewdrops. Such intricate little engineers, they are. #photography #nikon #art #naturephotography

Close-up photo of a dew-covered spider web at golden hour with a small spider at its center, set against a soft-focus background of warm-toned vegetation.

Another #sunset pic from a different angle. I really like the cloud up in the left corner. I'm imagining it as some distant planet or moon or something, lol. #photography #art #nikon #monochrome #PNW #ocean

Black and white seascape photograph showing calm waters stretching to the horizon. A small boat sits silhouetted on the left side of the frame. On the right, a bright sun casts a shimmering reflection across the rippled water surface. Distant shoreline with tree line visible along the horizon. In the upper portion of the sky, wispy clouds drift across—particularly one formation in the corner that resembles a distant planet or moon, giving the scene an otherworldly, science fiction quality as if viewed from another world.

I really missed the #ocean. It's always so relaxing to watch a #sunset reflecting off of the waves. #photography #art #nikon #monochrome #naturephotography #PNW

A black-and-white photograph taken from a low angle at a rocky shoreline. Smooth, wet stones fill the foreground where gentle waves lap at the edge. Sunlight reflects as a bright shimmering path across the water toward the viewer. In the hazy distance, a small boat floats on calm waters beneath a bright sky, with faint outlines of distant land along the horizon. The overall mood is peaceful and contemplative.

The dang #birds wouldn't sit still for the long exposure. Gives them some fun, blurry heads. A classic #PNW view lookin out across the Sound. #photography #art #nikon #monochrome #ocean #naturephotography

A black-and-white long-exposure photograph of a weathered wooden pier or jetty extending diagonally from right to left over calm, misty water. The structure has thick support posts rising from the water and stairs leading upward along its length. Several silhouetted birds perch on top of the railing. The sky behind is overcast with soft clouds, and blurred rocks are visible in the foreground. The image has a dreamy, ethereal quality created by the smooth water texture from the long exposure technique.

Another long exposure and some fun lighting for the #BlueskyArtShow. The #PNW waves at golden hour #lights #nikon #photography #art #PNW

A peaceful shoreline at golden hour, featuring smooth dark rocks scattered along shallow water. Warm orange sunlight from above creates a glowing reflection that stretches across the misty water surface. The long-exposure effect gives the water a soft, ethereal quality while the rounded stones rest in the foreground. The overall scene conveys tranquility and natural beauty.

Some moonlight long exposure. It's always fun to shoot with unusual #lights to show the scene. #photography #nikon #art #BlueskyArtShow

A dreamy landscape photograph taken at dusk or dawn. The sky displays soft purple and lavender hues mixed with pink-tinted clouds near the horizon where golden light glows from the setting or rising sun. Below the vibrant sky, a dark green grassy hill slopes downward toward a shadowed foreground. Several dandelion seed heads stand tall in the immediate foreground, their white fluffy spheres catching faint light against the darkening grass. The overall mood is peaceful and serene with a painterly quality to the color palette.

Tryin to get back into #photography again. I have relocated back to the #PNW since posting last, so the content here is probably gonna change a decent amount. Hope you enjoy! #art #nikon #monochrome #naturephotography

Black and white photograph showing tall, slender plant stems with narrow leaves silhouetted against a bright cloudy sky. Multiple branches reach upward from the bottom of the frame, creating an intricate network of dark outlines. Small clusters of what appear to be flowers or seed pods are visible at the tops of some stems. High contrast creates a dramatic effect with the sky ranging from light gray to white where clouds gather.

The Pillsbury A Mill building in #Minneapolis. I think this building is so cool lookin' and always spend time staring at it when I'm nearby. #photography #art #nikon #streetphotography #urbanphotography #monochrome #architecture

A low-angle, black and white photograph captures the imposing facade of a large, multi-story stone building. The building appears to be constructed from rough-hewn, rectangular blocks, giving it a sturdy, aged appearance. Numerous windows, mostly rectangular with some featuring arched tops, are symmetrically arranged across the different levels.
Prominently displayed in large, light-colored block letters across the mid-section of the building is the word "PILLSBURY." Below this, at the very bottom of the frame, a distinct, large white "A" graphic, with a triangular base and upward-pointing apex, is visible, partially obscured by the bottom edge of the image. The sky above is cloudy, adding to the dramatic and slightly somber feel of the monochrome image. The perspective emphasizes the height and solidity of the structure.

Every now and then, I like to take photos that didn't turn out as planned and have fun with some odd editing. I like to call them "goofy edits". I haven't done one in a while but decided to give it a go with this one. #photography #art #nikon #streetphotography #urbanphotography #monochrome

A high-contrast, black and white street photograph shows a dark, motion-blurred car driving from right to left. The car is largely silhouetted, but its wheels show some detail and blur. Above and behind the car, bright sunlight illuminates a modern building with multiple rectangular windows, creating sharp shadows. Part of the building is in deep shadow, while another section is brightly lit, emphasizing the strong light and shadow play. The building appears to be made of concrete or light-colored stone. In the background, another building with balconies is partially visible.

Went out without grabbing my camera, silly me. Thakfully, #mobilephotography has come a long way, and I can still get decent shots. Downtown #Minneapolis, taken in RAW with a Samsung S22 Ultra. #photography #art #streetphotography #urbanphotography #architecture

A low-angle, wide shot captures the towering, reflective glass facade of a modern skyscraper against a vibrant teal sky dotted with wispy white clouds. The building's sharp vertical lines ascend towards a bright, hazy sun positioned behind another section of a contemporary building with horizontal, rectangular windows. An airplane is visible in the distance, flying high in the sky between the buildings. In the foreground, a traffic sign pole extends horizontally, displaying a blue sign with various transportation icons and a large white "GO" printed on it. The overall perspective emphasizes the height and scale of the architecture, contrasting the man-made structures with the natural sky.

From a #HandsOff protest on Friday in front of the #Minneapolis Federal Courthouse. Finally got around to editing a couple up. #photography #art #nikon #streetphotography #urbanphotography #monochrome #HumansOfBluesky #protest

A monochrome photo of the back a crowd of people carrying signs gathered at a protest. In the foreground of the photo is a person bent down, looking at the sidewalk in front of them. On the sidewalk there is writing in chalk that reads "HANDS OFF" and then a list including "judges, due process, social security, medicare, Medicaid, irs, immigrants, nih, vaccines..." and more that are obscured by the person bent over. One person in the crowd has an american flag that is upside down raised high above the crowd.

Been having fun adjusting the sky color to a fun teal like this lately. I just like things being a little different. #photography #art #nikon #streetphotography #urbanphotography #architecture

A low-angle, medium shot captures a vintage-style black lamppost in the foreground, standing before a backdrop of modern, light-colored buildings under a teal sky. The lamppost features an ornate, multi-faceted glass enclosure at its top. Behind it, a multi-level pedestrian walkway with a peaked, dark roof stretches horizontally across the frame. Further back, two prominent high-rise buildings dominate the scene. The building on the left has numerous evenly spaced vertical windows, while the building on the right presents a stepped architectural design with similar vertical windows. The overall lighting suggests it is daytime.

A monochrome photo of a person mid step walking across a sidewalk in a city. The person is mid step, wearing light colored sneakers, dark jeans, a checkered long sleeve shirt with a hood, and a baseball hat with a "P" on it. Their head is down, so the bill of the cap covers their faces. They have one hand in a pocket, and another holding a plastic bottle.

A monochrome photo of a person walking in front of a glass and metal building. The person is lit up with sunlight, contrasting against the shadow on the building behind them. They are wearing a collared jacket, and a dress shirt, with sunglasses on. They have a beard, and their mouth is held in a way that it looks like they are chewing on something. The building behind them is mostly in shadow, with one face reflecting brightly with sunlight.

A monochrome photo ofba person using something thay has a sign on it that reads "will suffering end?" The person is dressed in all black, and most of their face is in a heavy shadow, hiding a lot of features. They have a big smile on their face. There are other people walking behind them. The writing is very bright, while a lot of the rest of the photo has heavy shadows
