It's one of the first fighting games my brother and I owned on a Sega Genesis. We never had the 6 button controllers, just three button, so we were stuck doing basic moves haha

It’s important to know that a lot of productive activity is happening in person and offline, too. Not all of it can be broadcast online, but we’ve had hundreds of people showing up to our trainings, mobilizations, and more. Keep going. Tyranny is eroded by a sea of small acts. Everything matters.

Yes, this administration is dangerous and cruel, but they are also shockingly dim and incompetent. Opportunities are everywhere. Make everything as hard as possible. Resist every demand. Refuse entry without a warrant. Don’t take the buyout. Their problem solving skills are 📉

I think the old design could definitely be improved on with the angles and the size. I don't have the new one either, but I will say I do think I like the older version better as well

Also be open to where your creativity wants to take you with your piece! Allow it to shift and change until you have a clearer vision of where you want to take it. Try to push yourself creatively, in ways that excite you! Art in and of itself is imitation. It's okay to be inspired by other works!

As a viewer, I enjoy seeing different artists perspective on the same subject, as long as there's new things and not just a tracing. I want to see what the new artist brings of themselves into the art! As an artist, as long as you give credit to the art and artist that inspired yours, you're good!

Keep drawing what you want to draw! I followed you for your shading, and because I really enjoy your color work! Hopefully you'll feel less burnt out drawing what you want, and eventually your desired audience will find you ☺️ (At least that's what I tell myself as I begin posting my digital art)

tRump's god, Austen Bower, Digital, 2025

Digital painting of a Poorly Drawn American one hundred dollar bill, with donald trump in the center. On the left side there is a quote from his second inauguration that reads, quote, We will not forget our country, we will not forget our constitution, and we will not forget our god. End quote. The word god is lower case, and the words, our god, are on top of a smaller picture of money with a U.S. dollar symbol. On the right side of the picture, where U.S. money says The United States of America, this painting says the united states of the rich, white, straight, cisgender, americans.

Austen Bower @austenbower.bsky.social · 23/01/2025

When he said "Our country" he wasn't talking about a country for people who are different than him and his ideologies. When he said "Our constitution" he meant their abridged version that allows them to discriminate, and when he said "our god" I think it's pretty clear that he makes money his master

You do NOT have to speak to ICE without a JUDICIAL warrant. If they attempt to enter your home or your workplace, ask for a warrant. Sometimes they will try to use other, non qualifying paperwork. They need a warrant. (2/3)

SHARE WIDELY. KNOW YOUR RIGHTS. With mass deportations starting today across the country, it is vitally important - for both citizens and non-citizens - to know your rights. You have the right to remain silent. Assert it. You have the right to a lawyer. Ask for one. (1/3)

Earnest post, but: a thing I like here is it’s okay to have moments of happiness in public without being broadly scolded, and I believe that sustaining this kind of humanity will be very important as we resist fascism. We have to sustain each other. Making joy isn’t denial, it’s how we will survive

Don't let fascists and fascist apologists try to cover it up and get rid of the footage. News networks have already cut away from Elon Musk's first seig heil, but it is, and will remain, burned into my brain. The effort, the grunt, the expression change. All thought out and intentional. Fuck nazis.

Definitely! I'm hoping for at least five games that'll help soften the blow of the price they'll want haha

Just decided to stream some Helldivers 2 over on Twitch! www.twitch.tv/RisingAphrod... No cam or mic. Just vibes on 10 - Super Helldive 😎

I hope it has a good starting line up for Switch 2 exclusive games, or at least be able to maintain a consistent 30 fps. 🤞

You’ll probably see this screenshot floating around a lot but it really was wonderful to see Lynch put a scene in Twin Peaks: The Return where he has his character literally stare at the camera and say that you should either support trans people or die. I needed to hear that in 2017

There's a lot of stereotypes about Los Angeles being a vain city where people only look out for themselves, but throughout this unspeakable tragedy I've seen that that couldn't be farther from the truth.

You're definitely in for a treat! Cable and Deadpool is also a great time when you get the chance!

Have you read the Joe Kelly run? Easily my favorite. I wish they would've kept the character development that happened in those issues

My first goal should definitely be sharing any type of art I've created, first 😅
