Ceramics, arrowheads and blades from the Great Dolmen of Zumbujeiro. The arrowheads are made from flint and/or quartz. The blades are made of flint. I have accession numbers if anyone needs them.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that if AI can't improve productivity of coding, then all other claims about productivity improvements are essentially horseshit. Coding was the one thing everyone was like "well yeah of course it will be able to do that faster"

We created gyms because modern day work no
longer required physical activity. Without exercise,
our muscles atrophy.
I predict we'll need gyms for our brains too, once Al

The Grand Dolmen of Zambujeiro, is estimated to date to between 4-3,000 BCE. It currently consists of a single chamber and passageway which is blocked off. One can view the interior from above the chamber, as the capstone has been removed. It is the largest such tomb on the Iberian peninsula.

The Cromlech of Almendres, outside Évora in Portugal is dated back to the Sixth Millenium BCE in parts, whilst other parts date to the Fifth Millenium BCE and still others to the Fourth Millenium BCE. It is aligned to the summer solstice.

Today, I will be teaching about Apep, "the great babbler", a snake that dwells in the primordial ocean, and lives on its own anticommunicative, irrational roaring. It must be driven back every night by the sun-god and his entourage. I'm sure this concept has no relevance to our present moment...

The Aquae Flaviae at the Termas Romanas Chaves, named for the Emperor Titus Flavius Vespasian. We visited on Sunday (20/09/2026). The thermal waters still flow through the complex, which was lost in an earthquake in the 4th Century CE and was rediscovered in 2006. 1 of 2
