I was expecting MORE games featuring rhinoceroses — after all, the theme of the year was "Unicorns and Rainbows," and they are essentially **real-life battle unicorns**. But so far, I haven't spotted another game with this animal. I wonder if @end3r.bsky.social feels the same...

Technically relevant: Procedural illustration—I didn't use sprites. This allows for smoother animation and avoids the pixelated look found in most games, given the file size constraints. A portion of state management and all physics runs in a Web Worker, allowing better FPS.

But why is there a placeholder? The target state is nested and we can't nest :has(). It means that we could not use label:has(&)::before together with label::before (line 21), which means that the elements that precede the first selected one would not be affected by the state of the set. #CSS

The only use of JS is to read the oninput event. that data would only be available in this elem scope [using attr()] and shares it within <body>, as a CSS variable. Now we have access to the values of these inputs to style any element on the page. And there are two uses for this: [continue]

The filter() function could help us eliminate nesting when we want to apply a filter (opacity, grain, blur, selective desaturation...) *only* to a background/ border image, not the entire element. If you're interested in this, please 🙏 vote for it github.com/web-platform... #CSS
