Don’t ever downplay someone’s sobriety. Sobriety led me to self-growth, self-discovery, veganism, and writing my first book—which I’ll have published in November. I’ve gotten to know myself better as a sober person than I ever did as a heavy drinker. More importantly, I’ve found purpose. 😃

Bringing animals into the world to kill them is not part of the cycle of nature. We artificially inseminate animals, kill them before their time, then justify it as natural, comparing ourselves to animals who kill to survive. Last time I looked tigers weren't breeding gazelles

I think when non-vegans claim that vegans are “forcing” them to go vegan, it’s really just their own guilty conscience that’s more than likely pressuring them to go vegan, rather than them actually being “forced” by vegans. They just want to project that onto vegans so they don’t feel as guilty. 🤣

It’s so unbelievably disheartening that animals have to suffer on behalf of the stupidity in our society—the fact that humans are so selfish, inconsiderate, and too privileged to care that animals are being exploited. A lot of humans need to get over themselves. We are NOT that special. 🙄

Why do people expect vegans to be less direct when talking to them about why killing animals is wrong? Do you really need a vegan to sugarcoat why harm and exploitation are bad? Maybe blame yourself for not seeing the seriousness and urgency of it all instead of tone-policing vegans. 😃

Chip’s good at knocking speeches out. 😃 Maybe I should work toward speaking on stage. I did, in fact, take speech when I was in high school. I got up on stage and performed 10 assignments in front of an audience. We either had to take speech or debate in order to graduate, and that was my pick.
